Those are all excellent, important pieces.

What about current use though? If you had to pick one rifle as a civilian or for war what would it be?

Also do you have any thoughts on pistols?

i dunno

lots of good choices

i have aks because theyre cool

but ars are good too

theyll hurt somebody you need hurt

something semi auto but compact

and light ammo is good because carrying ammo sucks balls

as for pistols

pistols suck balls

we carry pistols because rifles dont fit in our pocket

Piranha or smooth in your choice of colors.. I use smooth aluminum but the aluminum sucks when it's cold.
