Community member @VieBleu is asking for an addition to the rules regarding advocation of violence

I propose a rule that submissions or comments that promote vigilante justice and or violence are not tolerated. Every person using this forum is asked to engage with the originator if they run across this kind of content and ask them to modify it or take it down. If they do not do so upon being asked, or are not online, their content will be removed.
When asking someone to tone down or take down violent content, the suggested approach is to say something like "Content that promotes violence or vigilante justice is not tolerated among the pizzagate community. Please take that type of free speech to another venue."

I consider a rule explicitly dealing with this to be important and adding something to the "On Concerns" section would probably address this.

Something to consider is that it would be a bad idea to delete posts advocating violence, my personal preference is to have a process using the report spam button and a copypasta reply from the mod team containing the appropriate text.
I think calling on the community itself to shun these kinds of comments is probably the most effective and rapid way to deal with this, having a rule to point to can add weight.
Pointing out that the community is an investigation and information gathering one, calls for vigilantism have no place here.

Repeat offenders can get the copypasta treatment, and ultimately banned if it is very clear that they are working against the intent of the community.

Mods need to fix the "subscribe" txt button. Txt just disappeared when my cursor cam near it, and I had to fickle with it and click the txt over and over again before it would finally let me subscribe. Bet a lot of people have just given up.

Please, just fix it, mods.

Mod - Hi - there is a new really well organized post that lays out all the pizzagate stuff with links, fully supported etc....Many people are calling for it to be sticky so that when newcomers get here (there is a lot more traffic today and prob more with Milo talk tonight) there is something for them to really grab onto instead of just the "new" or "hot" stuff.

Also we need a definition of what constitutes SPAM - i posted a link trying to get this article upvoted and I was reported as spamming. As I have no personal gain but am feebly trying to add some editorial organization to this mad teeming place, I think this was wrongly reported. I don't see a definition to the right so please provide one so that good posts aren't deleted as spam by shills.

Here is the link Explainer COULD YOU PLEASE STICKY RIGHT AWAY? (I have no affiliation with it at all, just want to help get some organization going)

kingkongwaswrong ago

yep it is pretty nice :) we can only have one sticky though, and it means we dont sticky an investigative post...

VieBleu ago

What demonic being made up the rule we only get one sticky? Anyway it looks like it was made sticky so YAY. Also can the powers that be write a specific definition of spam? Thanks sorry to keep you working but when all the power is invested in the mods, you have to do all the work. : ( If you want to delegate some of it sometime I'm game. thx.

kingkongwaswrong ago

please share via sli.mg. I am not aware of a mechanism that allows people to delete a submission without it going into the log.

ThorTheWonderful ago

Who are the fucking Jews deleting my comment! Joke but seriously, censoring? My comments are gone..

kingkongwaswrong ago

theres a log that shows all the comments that have been deleted. none of your comments have been deleted, I had a look. Thanks. the link is in the sidebar, toward the bottom, you can check yourself.

piratse ago

This isn't a discussion, it's a rule list. It's reddit.

patriot_saints ago

LOL my post about shills trying to distract people from linking Pizzagate to Zionism has been deleted by kingcuckwaswrong. This place is dead guys, next its going to be like Gamergate where they went from fighting cultural Marxism, to banning people for making crass jokes towards SJWs.

kingkongwaswrong ago

shills and legitimate concerned posters alike, concern posts were diluting this sub. I am making a thread for concern discussion.

patriot_saints ago

if something is relevant to the topic and cited with facts, then you have no business removing it other than being a tyrant. If you're worried about the public image, then guess what, most people will already label you "tinfoil" for talking about a pedophile ring.

kingkongwaswrong ago

the moment you said tinfoil I mentallly labelled you as an obvious shill.

This sub has a purpose, its not a general discussion sub.

Jay777 ago

You have been on here for 2 weeks and are a lazy mod. You only got the gig because you are club 33. Screw u!

kingkongwaswrong ago

yes it will be back shortly!

zeebo ago

I'm on board as long we we get more transparency from the mods. How about logs of all (relevant) internal conversations that take place, as well as logs of all deleted submissions? If you want the autonomy to lead, surely it must be justified with transparency.

kingkongwaswrong ago

there's already a log of all the deleted submissions - check the sidebar.

Nicefind ago

Thanks for your work mods! Total agreement with this direction.

I would like to make a suggestion for daily or weekly sticky threads. Things like: "New leads discovered from 11/26 to 12/3" "Daily investigation thread 11/26", etc.

In these sticky threads, and ONLY these sticky threads, there could be rules to keep the investigation on track. I imagine something like "top comments must be a link to a new piece of evidence and why it might mean something", "replies to top comments must make an argument to support or debunk the evidence presented", etc.

Pros:
-Keeps investigation on track
-A structured pattern of discussion would help to prevent shilling and sliding
-Minimizes mod power as users will still be the ones submitting and deciding on evidence

Cons:
-Would introduce extra maintenance to make sure mods are not enforcing the sticky thread rules with bias
-People will rightfully say this feels reddit-y

Your thoughts?

kingkongwaswrong ago

dude i would love for that, but I don't have the brain power, time or autism to keep on top of leads, connections and then make new stickies. Whenever someone DOES write up a good thread with that info, I always add it to the sticky. The FBI leads got added to the sticky as a key focus area - I will bring that back once the mod rules are sorted out.

If you compile a list of those things and send them through I'll be sure to add them.

pinklb_q ago

I knew this was going to happen when all you fucks from Reddit came over here. Mod to keep the posts on topic and that is it. This is voat.

Nightowl19632000 ago

@pinklb_q Look, if you want to go to another sub that is less restrictive, I am sure you can find one that isn't moderated from someone who use to be from Reddit. No one is forcing you to be here. No one is holding you hostage!

pinklb_q ago

Got it captain! This is your ship yes sir

Normality1 ago

resist ago

Considering the amount of info I think it is crucial to organize the data. That might also lead to less "doublethreads" and also a possibility to move questionable posts to a "other" category without censoring anything. Would it be possible to have a "middlelayer" between pizzagate and the threads, like a list on the side that comes up after you click on pizzagate? Something like this: - Summaries - Info for newcomers - New leads - James Alefantis - David Brock - Obama - Podesta brothers - Soros - Childtrafficking foundations - Monica Petersen/Haiti - FBI/CIA - The tunnel systems - Earlier investigations - Symbols/rituals - Other etc etc

Sapphique ago

4 General topic rules

Suggested by a voater: Posts not about PIZZAGATE specifically will be removed. Unfounded, outlandish connections will be removed. EVERY new claim needs a valid, clear source. While some hypothesis and guesses are good to have, things about races, religions, (besides possibly satanic stuff,) and other unfounded or non-useful generalizations are not relevant to this investigation.

If you can enforce that, we are in good hands.

MAGABoomer ago

I'm finding that things that THEY don't want seen, in my case a very old yet clear (and fucking disturbing) video tying Carlos Slim of the NYTimes to this filth can't get any legs. Briganding or something? I didn't really think DV would matter much in here but it does.

philomath ago

I get that, and take no issues with them doing so. It just seems they are taking a very heavy-handed approach to defining what is "on topic."

demurrage ago

if everyone could possibly search for topic to respond to or comment on, instead of starting a new thread every few minutes, that'll be great.

kingkongwaswrong ago

THIS. god yes. I'll put that in the rules - look for a thread that already covers your topic before you post.

pizzaparallel ago

Sounds good to me overall. I'm glad the spam posts are being deleted. I'm not sure if the rest needs to be so strict but I don't have much of an opinion on it. I just ignore most of the other stuff anyway.

I'm generally of the opinion that upvoting and downvoting will even things out and that was my stance here until last night. The concern trolling doesn't bother me as much as the spam. In particular, users who repeatedly post the exact same threads (title, description and all) are making it more difficult to find meaningful posts.

As much as I don't like the idea of censorship, the moderation logs keep the censorship in the open so that everyone can find out what is being deleted and why. That way, if there is a significant disagreement over whether something is relevant, it can at least be debated publicly and no individual has sole control over what is and isn't acceptable.

Spuddlebuns ago

WORSE? No. DILUTING the punch with dirty water? Far more likely. Time and place, asswipe. Unnecessary bias dilutes the message, because the people too stupid to connect the dots without help are then distracted by all the moronic crap about the joos and Pizzazombies and other worthless bullshit. THIS is not the time nor place for such stupid. Take it elsewhere, and if you are too stupid to do so, then others may have to help. And downvotes do not filter the water from bullshit.

It's called "Try to stay focused." I understand how for many people, with the amount and variety of "surface innocence" evidence being presented, this can be a confusing wad of chew to try and swallow. We don't need, nor want, the rabble of stupid to further the confusion.

If you can't grasp the basic intelligence of that, in your quest for "total freedom," then you are no shill, you are just a fucking moron, and have no place here.

For some context to some of this:

Franklin Cover-Up Excerpt, John DeCamp:

https://archive.fo/I6OCx

Ritual Abuse Hypnosis/MPD/Disoc Disorder, Prof. D. Corydon Hammond:

https://archive.fo/54x7F

MAGABoomer ago

People are confusing the "satanic aspects" of ritual abuse with actual Satanism. I really don't know how to explain this in any short post but can direct you to books/resources to study it so you don't get stuck on Satanism.

The inclusion of what some call satanism into abuse is a control mechanism to instill fear, and false memories. It is so hard to explain. The organization of such abuse begins with Operation Paperclip, devolves into US mind control programs like Monarch, MK Ultra etc. A good book to read that is written for the layperson but very well organized/laid out is Orphan Conspiracies, it helped me work out a good timeline and sort out the evolution of this stuff.

When I say this I get attacked OMG satanism...but it's clear people do not understand the evolution of mind control techniques, and the pleasure/pain mechanisms. Satanism is as "real" as $cientology or xianity (sorry folks, all fear-based religions are mind control)...Satanism is something people are AFRAID of. There are people who believe these rituals empower them...just like $cientologists believe enough auditing will permit them to move ashtrays.

I was involved in Chanology almost from the begining. I know $cientology inside and out. It is closely related to what is happening in Pizzagate.

Does it matter WHICH mechanism people use to create the fear/pain/pleasure mind control response? NO. MANY "religious" groups use their own doctrine to do the same. So focusing on Satanism as this OMG religion thing is a mistake. Clams do not use Satanic imagery...and LRon studied at Crowley's feet...and yet his system of mind control is every bit as effective. There are mind control/abuse factors in EVERY SINGLE RELIGIOUS GROUP in the world. Period. From Judaism, xianity, to satanism.

The reason Satanism is MOST popular is the imagery is "scary"...when I read Oz girls testimony about "ritual abuse" it was very easy to recognize the false elements terrified into her via the pain/pleasure/fear response. They do this so that if the child later speaks out, no one will believe them. The imagery is so over the top ON PURPOSE. The child believes everything imprinted..this makes it nearly impossible for the child to ever be believed because the things they do as part of the mind control is meant to be over the top.

I don't know how to explain this in a way that is not going to get a knee jerk response OMG how dare you deny satanism...that's not what I'm saying...and understanding what I'm trying to tell you is actually going to require you to study it, extensively.

So yeah, OMG Satan...is badly minimizing, and actually becoming a mechanism by which ears are shutting, and it is designed to do just that...and it's working. Using different language that is maybe more scientific in nature, backed up by exhaustive research and really ends up disguising the depth of the issue.

DO people drink blood and eat people...fuck yes. Does it help them? I dunno...but Hilldawg surely is not showing any benefits, neither is Bill. WHY would they use the pain/pleasure/fear mechanism on a child while dressed in spooky robes, "drink blood" eat humans, kill babies? ARE they really doing that in most cases? OR is that merely the mechanism used to inflict the "fear" portion of the mind control.

Focusing on the mechanism rather than making it some spiritual perversion would be way more effective. It's like how parents tell their kids...don't go into the forest alone at night or the big bad wolf will eat you...later child captured...fear response effective if abuser dressed in wolf costume.

I hope I explained it enough to avoid being attacked. If you're going to be involved in this investigation, it will benefit you immensely to actually study this.

Crensch ago

Nope. Good guy doing what he can to keep an investigation subverse on topic and uncluttered.

Pizzagatethroaway499 ago

Is there anyway to tell who is down voting things? I just submitted something that I think is very crucial and it has 2 down votes in a matter of minutes. I'm new to voat and not sure exactly how this works but it doesn't seem right that people can do that without an explanation unless they are shills! That might be a way of getting rid of them if you knew who was down voting good leads!

https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1438615

Thank you!

UglyTruth ago

Downvoting typically means that a post has no value or that it make an important point but some readers don't like what it implies.

If your post is clear and concise and has supporting links then it should be readily apparent what any downvotes really mean.

Spuddlebuns ago

If you are posting to get upvotes, you are posting for the wrong reasons. If you are worrying about downvotes, you are posting for the wrong reasons. Numbers don't lie, so unless you see a LARGE PERCENTAGE of downvotes, don't worry about it. What YOU think is 'very crucial,' may not be. Or it may not be the first time it has been brought up. This place has exploded with info and people the past 3 days. Don't get your knickers in a gather over little things like downvotes. You are not going to hinge a Nobel Peace Prize on a few downvotes, and people will most likely STILL read your "very crucial" post. This subverse is NOT a popularity contest.

Also DO keep in mind that you cannot even GIVE a downvote until you have sufficiently participated within VOAT. So any downvotes (at least for awhile) are from people who have earned the right to not like what you say.

Pizzagatethroaway499 ago

Trust me I'm not worried about a Nobel Peace prize or really down voting if it wasn't linked to the number of people who can see it and get it out there! I really wish I could submit my clues to someone and have that person post but unfortunately I don't trust ANYONE! And to the person who said take all satanism out that's simply crazy! That's how this whole thing started if you remember with spiritcooking and it is vital to this investigation! You can't leave anything out!

Spuddlebuns ago

Agreed, but what YOU consider "vitally CRUCIAL,' may not be all THAT crucial. There are literally tons of things to be brought up, investigated, and validated. Data is being spackled over and painted and made private as we speak, so yes, time is important as well. BUT a couple of downvotes is nothing to get so riled up about. This subverse is not geared to who the most popular contributor is, although it may give a reflection on how much validity your posts will garner. Two downvotes does not make your info disappear, so it isn't getting "left out."

You are too concerned with the popularity contest, instead of your data in this instance.

kingkongwaswrong ago

no way to tell unfortunately :( just keep upvoting the good stuff, thats all we can do

6941586? ago

  1. Title/picture only posts with no explanation

This is an investigation, explain how your submission is linked in. Dont be lazy.

This is fine.

  1. Zero tolerance for spam

Spam posts will be deleted and users banned.

This is weird. And is one of a couple of ways cancer mods on reddit spread, and started to justify abuse with automod.

Define spam. Generally speaking, copypasta, where the same text body or comments can be identified, and be a true/false value that either readers or other mods can easily verify. If an antisemitic user is actually engaging in debate, on topic with #pizzagate, and not just copy/pasting arguments, if it is unwanted by the community, they should be downvoted by the community.

AKA you should be able to identify "amalek" spam on sight, but if amalek is actually on one of his medicated days, he should not be banned until he starts acting up with multiple links/copy comments.

  1. Concern trolling posts will be deleted unless substantiated or adding significant value

This is weird. Because precisely a mod can go "this one this week adds enough value" and "this one this week does not". And honestly, if it gets upvoted, it should by definition, be adding value, and if it is downvoted, not adding value, so it doesn't need to be a rule by itself.

Crensch ago

https://voat.co/v/ProtectVoat/1438543/6941681

I think things will be just fine.

6942654? ago

Haha, the fact that your link can pretty much be used as a shit/spam litmus test moving forward is great.

In a sub called "pizzagate" about discovering things about the pedophile ring, submissions not about the pedophile ring are being removed.

Or put another way, I like your edit of ""Posts not about PIZZAGATE specifically will be removed. Unfounded, outlandish connections will be removed. EVERY new claim needs a valid, clear source. While some hypothesis and guesses are good to have, things about races, religions, (besides possibly satanic stuff,) and other unfounded or non-useful generalizations are not relevant to this investigation."".

kingkongwaswrong ago

Thanks for thought out feedback, I appreciate it.

I think we're gonna make some modifications to the concern trolling one, and make a single thread for concerns. That means people can discuss and voice concerns and we can address them, but they don't clutter the sub with duplicates. Thoughts?

6941957? ago

they don't clutter the sub with duplicates

If that's something you want, then define something like a timeframe/user posts/and it kind of goes back to defining spam.

I also really like /v/gaming way of handling their own rules. Their own post. But what sets them up to be decent voaters is that they have one pretty harsh rule, which is that titles are defined in a specific way, but @ChillyHellion, and others on their team, have always kept an internal method of if they miss a post in a time period/it gets a certain amount of upvotes, they just comment as a mod, restating the rule, but not touching the post itself. It means that if you have a spam rule of "no duplicate posts, and that include text posts with no further information, new links, then a previous post within the same hour/whatever", it means that pretty much all mods can be consistent in their janitorial roles.

That being said, each verse is different. /v/fatpeoplehate for instance is harsh on its draconian rules, and they have set themselves up as an exception on how mods operate on voat, as opposed to the rule. There are also some pretty old communities that are +1.4 years old, that still have "no bigotry" rules, and had to clarify themselves to /v/whatever or /v/protectvoat. This shit has been going on for some time. However, one of the most defining moments in the past with mods on voat was the "cupcake" incident, where one mod got called out for being a cupcake/special snowflake, and then went on a banning spree. The reason why even /v/android has gotten rid of its "be nice to eachother" rule.

End of the day, you're going have to justify when you use your rules, and the more hand-wavey, open to interpretation they are, the more likely they are to be abused. EDIT: Words.

kingkongwaswrong ago

true. The current set of rules are a draft I guess, they need to be further defined and locked down. We'll iterate on them and continue to open them up to feedback so we can get to a good place. Thanks for your thought out comment.

ThorTheWonderful ago

I have to agree. PC has been used to silence free speech so that specific groups can not be identified. What if Hitler and Nazi's were innocent? That everything we think we know was taught by a powerful group. What if, and it looks like it is, if this group we are deal with in this pedo ring, is the same group? Are they normal Jews, Christians, or whatever? NOPE!! What about the Bolsheviks, where they the same Jews as the Jews in Germany? NOPE! BUT 100's of thousands of Bolshevik Jews migrated to Germany before and after WW1. Imagine having them taking over banks, media, schools and politics. Strikingly similar to what is happening today. Is it any wonder Roosevelt and his confirmed communist VP were allies with a "group" who they knew had Gulags and murdered 100's of millions. Meanwhile here they were trying to do similar shit. What if these "Bolshevik Jews" are not Jews at all? What if they use the title as a way of hiding under our noses? This is why we need the rights and ability to identify groups and filter people, identify the nefarious motherfckrs. Right now we can use left/right but we have to stop the left from using their power of propaganda against the right. We need to use anti-propaganda! The truth!! 100% unabridged freedom of speech, the lefts worst nightmare!

I am finding the voat.co search to be irrelevant. I typed in Assange and clicked "Limit the search to current subverse" and it didn't find this result: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1436916

I have been using google to find articles but is there any way to fix this? As well, google searches have been ummm unreliable concerning pizzagate. So it really would be useful to get this fixed.

philomath ago

Edit - after re-reading your post, I would like you to clarify what you intend to do with posts that violate your rules.

Just my opinion, but you're making a mistake. A big one. This isn't reddit.

The entire ecosystem here is set up to allow user moderation through upvoats and downvoats. It makes navigation more difficult and slower because you do have to weed through stuff you don't agree with and don't want to see, but that is a worthwhile sacrifice. It ensures that authoritarian individuals don't get the power to speak for the entire community. While I'm sure your intentions are good, they may not always be, or those that come after you may not be.

I think you need to get the community more accustomed to speaking with the voats and letting them moderate themselves. It's a change and will not feel normal overnight, but is the right thing to do. Jumping into Voat waters and imposing reddit customs is wrong. It's against everything we stand for, and I'm frankly a little shocked at your eagerness to do so.

Point is, this is NOT your usual, 'Stream of Consciousness,' post any stupid outrageous shit you want, just because you can subverse. As has been CLEARLY pointed out over and over and OVER again,

This subverse is for the investigation of pizzagate connections, to further our understanding of the situation and find more relationships and potentially some evidence.

THIS subverse is not for the morons and trolls to shit all over everything just because they are uncensored. There are other topics to go squat on. Not here.

EndThePizza ago

Don't we have the right to run the subverse in the way we as the subverse community think is best? Any organization can set whatever rules it wants for itself. Anyone who doesn't like it can go to another subverse.

piratse ago

No, you have the right to run it in the way the WEBSITE/ADMINS (who are very much about free speech) deem best, and you can have rules within that scope.

philomath ago

You have to understand what you've walked into here at voat. This place is full of those who rejected the moderation policies of reddit because they were overbearing, uneven, biased, and wrong. We are not children and became disgusted with being treated thusly. Being told was was good speech and what was not acceptable. Being told that anything that didn't align with a particular dogma was offensive. Everything was becoming racist or misogynistic. Downvotes for dissent.

We became fed up with it and soundly rejected it. We've cut the cord of it and created (or joined /u/atko) this oasis in our fucked up view of how things should be - little to no moderation, letting the community decide what we want to see. It's a learning experience as new subreddits are targeted because we get new waves of refugees. Where this was once essentially a utopia of discussion, it was the early days and everyone was excited about the future. We then got fatpeoplehate and it slightly changed. We got coontown, and it really changed. We /r/europe and things changed. Now we have you.

In each transition, our utopia gets rocked by challenges to the core beliefs of the site, similar to what is happening here. Shit posters and power hungry come with each wave and disrupt it further. What has worked for us isn't always comfortable for the new users, and questions are asked, ideas of better moderation practices are proposed. Add in the shit posters and power hungry, and the original users are forced to once again fight off the power grabs. We've gone through this shit numerous times and are pretty sensitive to it. We left censorship, to come here and fight as a community to keep that shit out of here. Some are going to be a little sensitive when they think they see it.

So no here we are. You are part of the voat community, our community. It's not just your subverse, it's our subverse. We have our resident racists who we as a community have decided to allow in. We have the anti-semites that we've allowed in. As much as I despise what they believe, they have as much right to say it as I do to deny it.

How does that pertain to /v/pizzagate? The rules as they are posted are contradictory and leave themselves open for censorship. That and it's been openly stated that censorship is in part the intent. There are too many "the jews are responsible" posts. So what happens when the Jew-hating faction of the site decides to join your ranks, starts looking through their troves of who-knows-what, and starts making some legitimate findings? Will they be deleted because they don't comply with rule 4? Also, are you guys really comfortable with letting a few people decide what constitutes "outlandish?"

I feel like the proposed rules #1 and #3 should be sufficient to keep the subverse moving in the right direction, and set very clearly what that direction is. Rules #2 and #4 are more open to interpretation and open our entire site to abuses.

kingkongwaswrong ago

I will let him make a statement on that, it's his personal information and his actions.

sixgorillion ago

So you're basically saying that you won't take action against what he did?

Odd.

I mean what he did warrants a fucking ban from the sub, or at the very least stripped of all privilege. This sure makes you all look like fucking shills.

Spuddlebuns ago

pizzathrowaway is allowed the same voting rights as the rest of us. How stupid he chooses to use his privilege is his business. Is it bad? Not particularly. Stupid? Definitely. Should he be subject to CENSORSHIP because he is stupid? NO. This is VOAT, where "nigger faggot" is like saying "Hi! How are ya!" So as much as we don't agree with his stupid, we have no right to suggest or demand it be censored. Just my take on the flavor of this place...

sixgorillion ago

He didn't say "nigger faggot", he used various alt accounts and was sliding discussion.

Spuddlebuns ago

Did you not read the "noob welcome," when you joined? I guess not. I did. "nigger faggot" is not a jaw dropping thing here. Re-read what I wrote. I was not accusing anyone of saying it.

chickyrogue ago

you should not delete posts without discussion first mho

wanna make this better stop silencing us

Crensch ago

Check the deletion log. It should look as I framed it here:

https://voat.co/v/ProtectVoat/1438543/6941681

chickyrogue ago

gave uu an up vote hope it helps

justiceforever ago

I think those are good rules. The racism shills are making us look bad around here imo.

It'll get better once the flairs get working!

Can we still circlejerk on Morale Monday @kingkongwaswrong? Pleaassseee :)

kingkongwaswrong ago

I think so .. =/ we'll see how it goes this monday.

justiceforever ago

Okay, worth a shot. If it doesn't go well then we just won't do it anymore

rieekan ago

I understand now why my discussion thread was deleted.

Thank you, @KingKongWasWrong.

kingkongwaswrong ago

no worries.

goatboy ago

You and your mods don't have to think for us!

Whatever. Its your fucking sub. Do what you want on it. But do not think to carry this authoritarian shit to other subs or to the admins.

Crensch ago

He's not. The guy is legitimately trying to do everything right.

https://voat.co/v/ProtectVoat/1438543/6941681

goatboy ago

Refusing to honor voats culture, by deleting non spam is not doing anything right.

Crensch ago

Having a subverse for a very specific purpose and removing the troll posts has nothing to do with Voat culture. /v/niggers is specifically about a nigger-hate cirlcejerk, and its submission and comment removals do not show a disregard for voat culture. Same with /v/fatpeoplehate.

Most subs are there for the conversation, and as such should adhere to what you're describing as Voat's culture. This is not a conversation sub. Niggers and FPH are not conversation subs.

Spuddlebuns ago

Ummmm. I think Kong is the OWNER of this site. He can carry "this authoritarian shit" across the boards if he wants to, and you can go ANYWHERE ELSE in teh Internets if YOU don't like how HE runs HIS boards. Capisce? Fuck off, little bossy pants. YOU don't make the rules here. You are just allowed to be here, like the rest of us. Whatever indeed.

philomath ago

Kong, registered for 14 days now, is owner of the site? Are you retarded?

Spuddlebuns ago

LOLOL silly bunny. What do you think the (O) next to his name on the Mods List signifies, Orgasmic????

BTW, the about page has been wiped since I typed that, probably a smart anonymity move, Kong. Keep up the good fight, what you guys are doing is important to the 'Net and all it stands for. Thx.

Free_Radical ago

(O) means owner of the subverse, not the site.

philomath ago

Okay, so you are retarded. He is not the owner. That is Atko. Putitout is imhis confidant. This Kong guy is the owner of the sub, but no - not the site.

Spuddlebuns ago

My bad. Srry. Let the beatings begin

philomath ago

No worries. We all learn something new every day.

Spuddlebuns ago

Hey, if I'm retarded, when do I get my helmet?

grlldcheese ago

I read this whole thing because i saw you somewhere else and I thought you were a concern troll. Now i love you.

Welcome to voat. You'll figure it out. If you can deal with being called a retard/faggot it's a pretty great place.

And feel free to call everyone else whatever you want all the time. That's how it works here. They have to prove they're not shills. Not the other way around.

Spuddlebuns ago

That is one of the most welcoming things I've read here yet. And amongst some of the shit being slung around, there have been a few thoughtful, rational replies. People like you give noobs like me hope. Be careful. Can't have too much of that going around...LOL!

kingkongwaswrong ago

do you mean user @0110110101100101 ?

0110110101100101 ago

Aww hell. I thought it was a legitimate post.

kingkongwaswrong ago

Well, my opinion is (and id like to hear from others) is that we want to focus our efforts and not be distracted. So in accordance with that I'm going to clean up the posts. If people say they want the concern trolling back, we can revert easy peasy.

ArcherMcTaco ago

Get mods to label posts. There are way too many symbol pots which lets be honest half the time a company with a spiral. They have a place here but should be label as symbol posts.

Hard evidence should also be labeled. I mean hard evidence like Comet Pizza hosting encrypted files on their web page on a hidden part of their site.

History should be labeled. Fanklin scandal, presideo day care and the finders are important to know about. I wish we could dig more evidence on these to see how it links to current finds.

Theory labels are important. Sometimes excellent theories that end up coming true come up. Some times shit ones that are about aliens and lizard people come up.

Connection labels are very important. While it may just be six degrees of seperation othertimes these are KEY.

Anon tips should be labeled accordingly.

Etc. list goes on. Label things so they are easy to differentiate between. Cream will rise.

0110110101100101 ago

Cream will rise.

Yes!

kingkongwaswrong ago

I totally agree and we set up the flair in similar patterns but we can't seem to flair posts.. .the flairs aren't working. I tried to find a place to report bugs at voat but I couldnt find anything anywhere. Would you be able to look into this? It is actually really frustrating.

FuckCrensch2 ago

REMOVE @Crensch as a mod! He is censoring huge leads and has contributed nothing to this place!!!! TOTAL SHILL. His name appears 17 times in the shill concerns thread.

kingkongwaswrong ago

lol because he's a mod of protect voat and was releveant in the discussion? Please list what threads he has censored - they should still be in the deletion log. I can have a look into it.

flyawayhigh ago

Voat is known for free speech.

  1. Pizzagate is a "default equivalent." It is the main word used to describe this pedophilia investigation. It was also a popular Reddit community. Pizzagate should be treated as default and subject to the same free speech treatment.

  2. V/N-word and v/FatPeopleHate are different because they start out viewpoint specific. Pizzagate does not. Users may want to discuss or debate various aspects of Pizzagate -- including opposing views. Who would go into a place called v/n-word and try to argue against it?

  3. Removing so-called "concern trolling" posts constitutes very wide authority to engage in discriminatory speech violations.

  4. Those who want to perform a serious investigation are the ones who should move out of this default equivalanet and to a designer subverse where distractions and "jews" would no longer be issues.

  5. The perfect harmonious Voat philosophical solution would be to make another subverse for the "serious" investigation and link to it in the sidebar here -- sort of like they do at r-conspiracy and r-conspiracyfact

How about set up another subverse? You don't censor us and we don't censor you. Fair enough?

macredsmile ago

Banning of concern trolling is censorship.

Cuckbot ago

V/N-word

Really?

flyawayhigh ago

Free speech remember? I am free to say n-word. :)

Cuckbot ago

Yep. It Just amused me to see it on Voat.

flyawayhigh ago

Cuckbot ago

Isn't that what the banhammer kids send around?

flyawayhigh ago

I don't know. I don't go there. They must have stolen mine!

kingkongwaswrong ago

almost every second post on the front page was concern trolling. I let it go, I thought the same as you but there are a LOT of shills around and one of their tactics is sliding and diluting content. There's lots of good intent mixed in with the shills probably, but let's focus.

You're right free speech is so important, but there have been about 15 - 20 'WATCH OUT DONT BE ANTISEMITIC' type posts ranging from articulate to downright spam. If that's not a campaign I don't know what is. Those kinds of posts can stifle free speech in their own way by swaying and guilting people from speaking their minds. There's a balance between zero modding and fascist modding.

AnonCanuck ago

Reposting from a few days ago

Trying to message the mods but it wont let me, might as well post it here. @kingkongwaswrong

Hey, so i was with the pizzagate sub on reddit when it hovered around 2500-3000 people, before it shot up in popularity so quickly and crazily. It was really easy to spot the downfall of the sub, i messaged multiple mods to no concern. Few things i noticed that may help you out and keep this sub in control.

1)You need to be very very strict on posts...and i dont mean the obvious ones (cp, etc) Im talking ones that look legit but focus on SATANISM/ RELIGION...Yes it has parts to do with the investigation but its not a crime and shouldnt be a focus at all. That was really what began the downfall, credibility is automatically lost when that becomes the focus. I pretty much would outright ban all religious, satanism, bullshit themes related.

2)GOOD post on the FBIANON as a resource, it really is. He knows what hes talking about since the first post in July i think. He drops bullshit now and again (admitted and on purpose) but mostly hes on point. FOLLOW THE MONEY, the main focus of this sub should be THE CLINTON FOUNDATION----FOLLOW THE MONEY, SOROS, TAVISTOCK,

3)Ban memes, music videos, cannibalism??, even other restaurants (posts about HEY GUYS CHECK OUT THIS RANDOM FUCKING PIZZA JOINT IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING NOWHERE , ITS LOGO LOOKS LIKE A PEDO!!!!) .. NO MORE WITCH HUNTING ... the shills will use THIS to their advantage the most

4)Unless its META post, i would be very strict on all posts coming in that dont contribute to the investigation. Seriously, its easy to handle shrill post now when its only 4000 people, wait till it 24000 and no rules in places. SET THEM EARLY

5)You need to be very aware , that people will call you a shill and going mod crazy and bla bla bla when you really enforce these rules and delete threads but you need to keep control and make sure it doesnt fall apart. ignore them

There are probably more that im forgetting but it was really easy to watch the downfall of that sub in real time and nothing was done to stop it.Dont make the same mistake.

EDIT - i guess the anti-semitism angle is one of attacks the shills didnt use over at reddit

resist ago

Agree on most parts. I have followed this from the beginning on reddit, 4chan and also 8chan and it exactly as you say it works when there are a couple of thousand persons but Pizzagate is exploding and so will this subverse. It is already so much info that is irrelevant for the investigation and it is annoying. I do think that the satanist part is important because there are connections to childsacrifies and specific rituals. Listen to the few testimonies from survivers from other pedophile rings. There are patterns that are interesting. For example the handkerchief and the torture chambers etc. I have said in another post that it is urgent that the we get a "middlelayer" between pizzagate and the threads. A list with subcategories nder the pizzagate subverse. This will make a big difference when it comes to getting an overview and also navigate.

UglyTruth ago

1)You need to be very very strict on posts ... that ... focus on SATANISM/ RELIGION...Yes it has parts to do with the investigation but its not a crime and shouldnt be a focus at all.

Satanism and religion are relevant because of the security relationships that are exploited and manipulated by the deep state. Threat assessment is significantly impaired when data is discarded simply because it doesn't fit into an accepted paradigm.

That was really what began the downfall, credibility is automatically lost when that becomes the focus.

Arguments about religion have the potential to defocus and derail investigation, and to decrease the information signal to noise ratio for much of the audience. I'd suggest creating categories for separating potentially troublesome discussions: fact, theistic-model, secular-model, and meta. The fact category would focus on verifiable observations which could be used as an evidence base. The theistic-model category would focus on interpreting the facts within a theistic context, and the secular-model category would focus on conventional theories or arguments. The meta category would focus on adminstrative, social, and infowar topics.

Free_Radical ago

Arguments about religion have the potential to defocus and derail investigation, and to decrease the information signal to noise ratio for much of the audience.

The investigation will have to widen its scope along with the "allowable" topics. The Pedestas and their immediate circle have already gone dark and proceeded to destroy evidence. It's unlikely you'll get much more over the next week or two even from their social media friends's friends. If you try to force focus, this place will quickly die. I understand that some of you are frustrated by the apparent lack of progress in that particular direction but that's to be expected and it's not due to "noise" and "defocus". Some of that noise is rubbish, of course, but it's necessary if you want to keep the discussion going and potentially creating new nodes for investigation.

So compile the current data in a sticky at the top and allow the rest to be fairly "unfocused".

UglyTruth ago

So compile the current data in a sticky at the top and allow the rest to be fairly "unfocused".

I'm collecting information independently of voat, and it's not my place to "allow" anything here.

Free_Radical ago

I wasn't barking orders at you, personally. It's was a suggestion for "you" - the community.

UglyTruth ago

No problem, but ambiguity doesn't work in your favour.

Free_Radical ago

You need to be very very strict on posts...and i dont mean the obvious ones (cp, etc) Im talking ones that look legit but focus on SATANISM/ RELIGION...Yes it has parts to do with the investigation but its not a crime and shouldnt be a focus at all.

It's a fucking crime if you rape/kill children. What are you thinking?

And he shouldn't be strict. People came here because they got muted on Plebbit. They're not going to enjoy being muted again. Besides:

  • The MSM will try to discredit you no matter what. Stop worrying about your image - it's a fool's errand.

  • The circumstantial evidence strongly indicates more than pedo sex. It suggests highly organized pedo sex, occult sacrifices and child trafficking. Censoring talk dealing with those themes would be counter-productive.

AnonCanuck ago

It's a fucking crime if you rape/kill children. What are you thinking?>

Where did i say it wasn't?? Seriously how did you come to this conclusion with what i posted and you even quoted me in. All i said was posts focusing on the satanism aspect of a investigation lead need to take a back seat to the more important crime which is pedophilia. Seriously, are you retarded? Anyone who has spent any real time on this knows what the main focus should be.

Nobody here has to believe me, but you'll see. If this trend keeps up this sub will be lost in a week. You need stricter rules because this is an extraordinary situation.

Free_Radical ago

Where did i say it wasn't?

In the quoted part. Where you argued that we shouldn't talk about satanism/religion because it's not a crime. These guys are almost certainly raping and killing children for their "deities". Take a look at that super-creepy "handkerchief" painting. A red, pinned, child, giving up the ghost, with other figures standing in a circle. They even have wands in their hands ffs.

kingkongwaswrong ago

I ignored your comment before because i thought 'they'll be fine!' but you're right in a lot of ways. Thanks for reposting. Sorry I ignored you before. cries

Le_Squish ago

It seems to me the shills are the one posting shallow shit. I think requiring a post to have a proper body outlining it's significance is fair.

kingkongwaswrong ago

it is crazy and actually challenging my initial assumptions of 'they'll be fine left to their own devices!' 0_0

Free_Radical ago

That approach almost always works. Your problem is that the subverse is under siege. Not as bad as I expected but definitely real.

kingkongwaswrong ago

This subverse has a purpose - to investigate pizzagate. I'm not shitting on voat, I'm not censoring opinion. In fact I'm openly asking for it, hence your feedback. In fact this change of mod approach is in response to feedback.

demurrage ago

imho: keep the old ones. delete new ones only

kingkongwaswrong ago

thanks for input but I want to see what the sub looks like without all the trash. Its really demoralising to moderate this sub and feel like no one is contributing anything useful besides concern trolls. Lets see what we've got.

WatcherWatcher ago

I agree. Purely from a user experience perspective, scrolling through a bunch of "the Jews..." and "hey don't talk about the Jews..." is annoying when you're just trying to stay on top of productive leads... I say be ultra liberal with your delete / ban hammer...

Spuddlebuns ago

I am still too wet behind the ears to be familiar with all the subverses. Might I suggest that any overly religious biased posts be tossed into a "ItsTheJoos" subverse? (or some such pit for such idiocy). If they cannot stick to the subject (#pizzagate) without throwing in biased hate speech (just because they can), then they have NOTHING of value to contribute to the discussion. But instead of CENSORING them, just move THEIR biased comments over to the subverse dedicated to biased comments. Let them rail against the joos, the catolics, the whites, the blacks, whoever, away from the main discussion HERE, which is:

This subverse is for the investigation of pizzagate connections, to further our understanding of the situation and find more relationships and potentially some evidence.

demurrage ago

users need a thread to vent both sides of the "religion as a culprit" issue. No one topic needs multiple threads

New threads starters should be directed to the old ones... but the community should be helping with that.

Let's get organized a bit better people. Try to find a place for your submission, don't just make a new thread plz
