Temporary Sticky: NEW MOD RULES & DISCUSSION/FEEDBACK (pizzagate)

There has been a lot of discussion and drama re modding lately. We have multiple camps of opinions.

I want whats best for this sub. I'm not an experienced mod but I can see that leaving everything to its own devices has led to a lot of circlejerk, concern trolling, waste of space submissions.

This subverse is for the investigation of pizzagate connections, to further our understanding of the situation and find more relationships and potentially some evidence.

We are all concerned about shills and the subverse being compromised. Make no mistake, shills are here and in great force. They are trying to create drama, they are trying to frame us as racists, they are trying to mislead us and they are trying to distract us.

To that end, I am going to put the following rules in place and as mods we will start to enforce them. The purpose of these rules is to concentrate the efforts here and facilitate meaningful dialogue, as well as remove all the noise. This is going to be hard. Sorting things is hard. We will make mistakes. We will ask you guys for input. Please feel free to check the mod logs at all times and call us out if you have any objections.

These rules are open for discussion, below. Please let me know your thoughts.

1. Concern trolling posts will be deleted unless substantiated or adding significant value

There are currently a number of concern troll posts - such as concerns about antisemitism (that have zero examples or proof), concerns about the fact that we're doing it wrong etc. Concern trolling adds no value to the sub, it clutters it. We want to hear your concerns, you can IM us or use the @ handle.

2. Zero tolerance for spam

Spam posts will be deleted and users banned.

3. Title/picture only posts with no explanation

This is an investigation, explain how your submission is linked in. Dont be lazy.

Like I mentioned, I'm new to modding. We may add more rules as you guys comment below, and we may change the above. But for now I'm going to do a bit of a cleanup, feel free to provide feedback. I'm sick of the state of things as much as you guys.

Get mods to label posts. There are way too many symbol pots which lets be honest half the time a company with a spiral. They have a place here but should be label as symbol posts.

Hard evidence should also be labeled. I mean hard evidence like Comet Pizza hosting encrypted files on their web page on a hidden part of their site.

History should be labeled. Fanklin scandal, presideo day care and the finders are important to know about. I wish we could dig more evidence on these to see how it links to current finds.

Theory labels are important. Sometimes excellent theories that end up coming true come up. Some times shit ones that are about aliens and lizard people come up.

Connection labels are very important. While it may just be six degrees of seperation othertimes these are KEY.

Anon tips should be labeled accordingly.

Etc. list goes on. Label things so they are easy to differentiate between. Cream will rise.

I totally agree and we set up the flair in similar patterns but we can't seem to flair posts.. .the flairs aren't working. I tried to find a place to report bugs at voat but I couldnt find anything anywhere. Would you be able to look into this? It is actually really frustrating.

REMOVE @Crensch as a mod! He is censoring huge leads and has contributed nothing to this place!!!! TOTAL SHILL. His name appears 17 times in the shill concerns thread.

lol because he's a mod of protect voat and was releveant in the discussion? Please list what threads he has censored - they should still be in the deletion log. I can have a look into it.

Voat is known for free speech.

Pizzagate is a "default equivalent." It is the main word used to describe this pedophilia investigation. It was also a popular Reddit community. Pizzagate should be treated as default and subject to the same free speech treatment.
V/N-word and v/FatPeopleHate are different because they start out viewpoint specific. Pizzagate does not. Users may want to discuss or debate various aspects of Pizzagate -- including opposing views. Who would go into a place called v/n-word and try to argue against it?
Removing so-called "concern trolling" posts constitutes very wide authority to engage in discriminatory speech violations.
Those who want to perform a serious investigation are the ones who should move out of this default equivalanet and to a designer subverse where distractions and "jews" would no longer be issues.
The perfect harmonious Voat philosophical solution would be to make another subverse for the "serious" investigation and link to it in the sidebar here -- sort of like they do at r-conspiracy and r-conspiracyfact
