There has been a lot of discussion and drama re modding lately. We have multiple camps of opinions.
I want whats best for this sub. I'm not an experienced mod but I can see that leaving everything to its own devices has led to a lot of circlejerk, concern trolling, waste of space submissions.
This subverse is for the investigation of pizzagate connections, to further our understanding of the situation and find more relationships and potentially some evidence.
We are all concerned about shills and the subverse being compromised. Make no mistake, shills are here and in great force. They are trying to create drama, they are trying to frame us as racists, they are trying to mislead us and they are trying to distract us.
To that end, I am going to put the following rules in place and as mods we will start to enforce them. The purpose of these rules is to concentrate the efforts here and facilitate meaningful dialogue, as well as remove all the noise. This is going to be hard. Sorting things is hard. We will make mistakes. We will ask you guys for input. Please feel free to check the mod logs at all times and call us out if you have any objections.
These rules are open for discussion, below. Please let me know your thoughts.
1. Concern trolling posts will be deleted unless substantiated or adding significant value
There are currently a number of concern troll posts - such as concerns about antisemitism (that have zero examples or proof), concerns about the fact that we're doing it wrong etc. Concern trolling adds no value to the sub, it clutters it. We want to hear your concerns, you can IM us or use the @ handle.
2. Zero tolerance for spam
Spam posts will be deleted and users banned.
3. Title/picture only posts with no explanation
This is an investigation, explain how your submission is linked in. Dont be lazy.
Like I mentioned, I'm new to modding. We may add more rules as you guys comment below, and we may change the above. But for now I'm going to do a bit of a cleanup, feel free to provide feedback. I'm sick of the state of things as much as you guys.
If you want to be helpful, here's a link to the previous sticky which we will reinstate soon. It contains direction and where to focus - https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1434672

Trying to message the mods but it wont let me, might as well post it here. @kingkongwaswrong
Hey, so i was with the pizzagate sub on reddit when it hovered around 2500-3000 people, before it shot up in popularity so quickly and crazily. It was really easy to spot the downfall of the sub, i messaged multiple mods to no concern. Few things i noticed that may help you out and keep this sub in control.
1)You need to be very very strict on posts...and i dont mean the obvious ones (cp, etc) Im talking ones that look legit but focus on SATANISM/ RELIGION...Yes it has parts to do with the investigation but its not a crime and shouldnt be a focus at all. That was really what began the downfall, credibility is automatically lost when that becomes the focus. I pretty much would outright ban all religious, satanism, bullshit themes related.
2)GOOD post on the FBIANON as a resource, it really is. He knows what hes talking about since the first post in July i think. He drops bullshit now and again (admitted and on purpose) but mostly hes on point. FOLLOW THE MONEY, the main focus of this sub should be THE CLINTON FOUNDATION----FOLLOW THE MONEY, SOROS, TAVISTOCK,
3)Ban memes, music videos, cannibalism??, even other restaurants (posts about HEY GUYS CHECK OUT THIS RANDOM FUCKING PIZZA JOINT IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING NOWHERE , ITS LOGO LOOKS LIKE A PEDO!!!!) .. NO MORE WITCH HUNTING ... the shills will use THIS to their advantage the most
4)Unless its META post, i would be very strict on all posts coming in that dont contribute to the investigation. Seriously, its easy to handle shrill post now when its only 4000 people, wait till it 24000 and no rules in places. SET THEM EARLY
5)You need to be very aware , that people will call you a shill and going mod crazy and bla bla bla when you really enforce these rules and delete threads but you need to keep control and make sure it doesnt fall apart. ignore them
There are probably more that im forgetting but it was really easy to watch the downfall of that sub in real time and nothing was done to stop it.Dont make the same mistake.
EDIT - i guess the anti-semitism angle is one of attacks the shills didnt use over at reddit

Satanism and religion are relevant because of the security relationships that are exploited and manipulated by the deep state. Threat assessment is significantly impaired when data is discarded simply because it doesn't fit into an accepted paradigm.
Arguments about religion have the potential to defocus and derail investigation, and to decrease the information signal to noise ratio for much of the audience. I'd suggest creating categories for separating potentially troublesome discussions: fact, theistic-model, secular-model, and meta. The fact category would focus on verifiable observations which could be used as an evidence base. The theistic-model category would focus on interpreting the facts within a theistic context, and the secular-model category would focus on conventional theories or arguments. The meta category would focus on adminstrative, social, and infowar topics.

The investigation will have to widen its scope along with the "allowable" topics. The Pedestas and their immediate circle have already gone dark and proceeded to destroy evidence. It's unlikely you'll get much more over the next week or two even from their social media friends's friends. If you try to force focus, this place will quickly die. I understand that some of you are frustrated by the apparent lack of progress in that particular direction but that's to be expected and it's not due to "noise" and "defocus". Some of that noise is rubbish, of course, but it's necessary if you want to keep the discussion going and potentially creating new nodes for investigation.
So compile the current data in a sticky at the top and allow the rest to be fairly "unfocused".

I'm collecting information independently of voat, and it's not my place to "allow" anything here.

I wasn't barking orders at you, personally. It's was a suggestion for "you" - the community.

No problem, but ambiguity doesn't work in your favour.
