Steven Avery (born July 9, 1962) is a man from Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, who was wrongfully convicted of sexual assault and attempted murder in 1985. After serving 18 years of a 32-year sentence, he was exonerated by DNA testing and released, only to be charged with murder two years later.[2][3]
Wrongful sexual assault conviction
In July 1985, a woman named Penny Beerntsen was brutally attacked and sexually assaulted while jogging on a Lake Michigan beach. Avery was arrested after the victim picked him from a photo lineup, and later from a live lineup as well.[12] Although Avery was 40 miles away in Green Bay shortly after the attack— an alibi supported by a time-stamped store receipt and 16 eyewitnesses[13]—he was charged and ultimately convicted of rape and attempted murder, then sentenced to 32 years in prison.[14] Appeals in 1987 and 1996 were denied by higher courts.[12]
Avery continued to maintain his innocence in the Beerntsen case. In 2002, after serving 18 years (the first six concurrently on the prior endangerment and weapons convictions), the Wisconsin Innocence Project used DNA testing—not available at the time of Avery's original trial—to exonerate him, and to demonstrate that Gregory Allen had in fact committed the crime.[2][15] Allen, who bore a striking physical resemblance to Avery,[3] had committed an assault at the same beach where Beerntsen was attacked in 1983,[8] and was under police surveillance in 1985 due to his history of criminal behavior against women; but he was never a suspect in the Beerntsen case, and was not included in the photo or live lineups presented to Beerntsen.[12]

The crime, which was committed on July 29, 1985, made headlines when, after 18 years in prison, DNA evidence proved that Avery was not the man responsible for the assault on Beerntsen. but rather the DNA pointed to a man named Gregory Allen.Dec 18, 2015

Vladimir Putin is our greatest hop at this point. He is a Christian who literally cried when he went to Jerusalem. He harshly punishes as all pedophiles and stated on a national stage in his December 25, 2016 speech that the west was taken over by Satanic Pedophiles. He has told Trump unless he names and arrests them Vladimir is going public. He gave the names to General Flynn of the highest level pedo's in the US and he has videotape believe me.

I only meant that as a joke....trying to be funny by calling him Vladi. But actually I was cheering for him Rah Rah! I and a friend of mine have talked and said that if H had won we would rather have Putin. I know also that we possibly were responsible for that plane that crashed around Christmas. I believe I heard it might have been done with a stringer. Also on that plane was a beloved Dr. that did so much for the Children of Ukraine when they were in the hospitals. She was on her way to Syria to do the same there. Yes, I would take Putin in a heartbeat over H and DT if he turns out to break our hearts. I know all too well about the propaganda the US and the UK have spread about him.
