I always tell people that typically they're an indication of poor life choices, and it's for one reason. Most people tend to regret some or all of their tattoo's. It shows that a person thinks so little ahead of the future that they don't realize this action has a consequence.

Every person is created as an original creation. Unique iris, unique fingerprint, unique tongue print... DNA, etc. Tattoos are only foolish to me because they are permanent, and a bit vain. People can rightfully take pride in what deeds they have accomplished, a masterpiece of creativity they created, an enduring structure or institution they have built, a skill they've mastered, a human being they've educated and developed from birth.
