Nothing like picking up the torch of a flaming faggot to really contribute. Couldn't you have at least tried to reformat and make it your own? At the very least a different tittle... Leave it to a Q to just follow a plan.
Lazy "America is a shithole" and "I talk about nigger cock all the time because I'm always talking to Americans and I know how much you Mutts love black cock" Jello9 says just enough voat friendly shit to keep his ccp in the positive and account unrestricted. Give him a medal for making you look like a fool.
Just a FYI, I specifically avoided politics because politics already makes up the first 4 pages of Voat, and I almost never posted something which was already on the first 4 pages of Voat.
It's more of an "anti-news" second front page. If it had more than 10 views, 2 upvoats, and/or was political I didn't post it. Every single day I did it, political garbage was more than half the comments I collected, and they were 99% of the comments I deleted before posting.
Thanks. I have a question though, how were you able to find more obscure threads that were also high-quality?
My only technique has been to obsessively browse /v/all/new, but then most of the threads are not insightful enough to include.
I definitely do want to include less political content overall, at least compared to what you'd normally see on Voat, unless it is something that has been ignored or is particularly important or relevant.

I ignored the headline and clicked every link to actually read the content. I then judged the content on what I consider to be merit. It's my own bias with a long experience of reading shit on the Internet.

My approach was mostly formulaic. Spend a scheduled 30 minutes or so of time every day, once in the morning, and once near midday, going back in /v/all/new and working my way forward. Anything that was over an hour old and had <2 upvotes was an easy target. Open a tab, review them all around 2 hours prior to the post to see which still fit criteria.

Your call. My goal was to avoid politics completely, but that's mostly because it made the task more challenging and I enjoy a challenge that results in better content. If you avoid politics then you simply have a higher engagement rate because people are politically over-stimulated today.
Give people real interesting events and they may learn something interesting.
Thank you for the advice. I think I've assembled most of the articles I need for today, although I'll check again later tonight.
However, I'm still having difficulty finding quality material that isn't wholly political in nature. It's not just challenging, it's impossible to find the content. Maybe my standards are just awry?
I would recommend go to the domain links in voat or possibly the voatarchive list on bitchute. These can list submissions in a different way that might let you see something that was missed on voat because of a bad title, low traffic sub or bad posting time.

Would you be interested in proof that Voat has been compromised?

It's sitting at 1 upvote... you didn't even tag him. He probably didn't even see it.

Thanks lol. I thought these were great threads, it's a shame /u/virge stopped doing them. Happy to be a builder and help Voat.

You do your own thing, that was just my formula.

It's probably more a sum of knowledge and experience thing than a standard thing.
Standards change with experience.
