Have been unable to post or comment on voat for the last 12 hours, despite hundreds of inbox replies. I have not been banned for violating vote manipulation rules, yet absolutely censored to the bone. Voat is no different' than reddit it seems, make one comment the hive mind doesn't like and you set of social policies of censoring and silencing that person. It's vaguely possible, but it would need to be built into the system from the beginning, rather than trying to kludge it into an existing one. I think Freenet's messaging system works on a similar basis, but I never played with it much.
