I shit you not, just a few hours ago(Time of writing: October 3rd 2017 ~11:30pm GMT+10 AEDT | @PuttItOut Voat is being maliciously attacked (Again, yawn...)) I was discussing the Vegas shooting and the broader connections, with a very close friend... he, in jest, said, "What happens in vegas, stays in vegas", my friend is very much like me and has a different way of having obtained similar knowledge(I will reveal no more), he is not always sure why he says what he says but he has proven vital at times & always delivers abstractly.
Further conversations in the last couple of hours, having pointed out to him alongside the Vegas shooting: Marilyn Masons's perculiar accident and a particular Marilyn Manson video/movie combo - including a certain PRESLEY connection led to the following...
As an aside, the same friend mentioned "Shep" in some abstract capacity, that part of the conversation is lost to me now, but, I looked up "Shep", having only been able to think of Shep the elephant pet of George of the Jungle, but, I digress:
Shep(disambiguation) - wikipedia
"Old Shep" is a song written and composed by Red Foley and Arthur Williams in 1933, about a dog Foley owned as a child. In reality, the dog, poisoned by a neighbor, was a German shepherd called "Hoover."[1][2] Foley first recorded the song in 1935, and again in 1941 and 1946.
Other versions
The song, later recorded by many artists including Hank Snow and Elvis Presley, became a country classic.[3] Hank Williams 1942, Elvis Presley 1956, Hank Snow 1959, Walter Brennan 1960, Dave Dudley 1965, Johnny Cash 1975, Everly Brothers & Garrison Keiler 1988, Pat Boone 1994, Burton Cummings (as Elvis) 1994, Alabama 2006
Elvis Presley connection
On October 3, 1945, Elvis Presley sang "Old Shep" at age ten for his first public performance, a singing contest at the Mississippi-Alabama Fair and Dairy Show. Dressed as a cowboy, he stood on a chair to reach the microphone. He came in fifth place, winning $5 and a free ticket to the fair rides.[4] At sixteen years of age, in 1951, he again performed it for a talent show at L. C. Humes High School, where he was a student, winning an encore for his performance.[citation needed] Elvis' cover version was released in 1956.
Other cover versions and cultural references
A version of the song by Clinton Ford appeared in the UK Singles Chart in October 1959, spending one week at number 27.[5][6]
In the British TV sitcom Only Fools and Horses, "Old Shep" is Del Boy's favourite song about a dog. In the 1982 Christmas special "Diamonds Are for Heather," Del gets a local mariachi band to sing "Old Shep." At the end of the episode, after being dumped by Heather, he pays some Christmas carol singers to sing the song to cheer himself up. In a later episode, "Modern Men," Del has "Old Shep" as the "on hold" music on his mobile phone, plus it plays on the radio in Sid's café in "The Long Legs of the Law." The song was also heard in the third episode of the prequel series Rock & Chips, "The Frog and the Pussycat", when Del was listening to the song in a bar.
Colombian performer Marco recorded a Spanish language version in 1986.[citation needed]
Led Zeppelin's song "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp", which is about Robert Plant's dog, mentions "Old Shep" in the line "When you're old and your eyes are dim / Ain't no Old Shep gonna happen again."[citation needed]
My friend, also, in conversation mentioned, "Ford", again I forget why, sorry.
However...
Henry Ford
Henry Ford (July 30, 1863 – April 7, 1947) was an American captain of industry and a business magnate, the founder of the Ford Motor Company, and the sponsor of the development of the assembly line technique of mass production.
Ford was also widely known for his pacifism during the first years of World War I, and for promoting antisemitism through his newspaper The Dearborn Independent and the book The International Jew.
Early life
Henry Ford was born July 30, 1863, on a farm in Greenfield Township, Michigan.[2] His father, William Ford (1826–1905), was born in County Cork, Ireland, to a family that was originally from Somerset, England,[3] His mother, Mary Ford (née Litogot; 1839–1876), was born in Michigan as the youngest child of Belgian immigrants; her parents died when she was a child and she was adopted by neighbors, the O'Herns. Henry Ford's siblings were Margaret Ford (1867–1938); Jane Ford (c. 1868–1945); William Ford (1871–1917) and Robert Ford (1873–1934).
Point of interest: Mary Ford (née Litogot; 1839–1876)

William Ford
William Ford (December 10, 1826 – March 8, 1905) was an Irish-American businessman and was the father of Ford Motor Company founder Henry Ford.
Life and career
William was born in Ballinascarthy near Clonakilty, County Cork, Ireland and was the son of Thomasine (née Smith) and Jonathan "John" Ford.[1] Ford's ancestors were originally from Somerset, England,[2] and migrated to Ireland as the English created plantations. Ford was an Anglican and attended a local Episcopal Church. The surname Ford is an English surname that dates back to Anglo-Saxon England,[3] although the surname "Forde" is sometimes found in Ireland as an Anglicised version of a number of indigenous Gaelic names.[4]
William attended St. Joseph's High School, had six siblings, and emigrated to the United States in 1846.[6] The family arrived in Quebec in 1847 and then onto the United States.[7]
On April 21, 1861, William married Mary Litogot in Wayne County, Michigan, daughter of Belgian immigrants. He and Mary had eight children, six of whom survived into adulthood. They moved to Detroit, Michigan.
William retired in 1879. He died of natural causes on March 8, 1905 in his home and was buried in the Ford Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan, USA, Plot: St. Martha's Episcopal Church yard.

Again, no word of a lie, my friend and I had also briefly touched on the Irish potato famine...
Is there a relation to be found via "Ford", perhaps related to Chicago mafia, prohibition, Jimmy Hoffa, Ed Gein, Manson Family, etc?
Early life
Pressly was born in Kinston, North Carolina,[2] the daughter of Brenda Sue (née Smith), a dance instructor, and James Liston Pressly, a car salesman.[3] In 1992, she moved with her family to Costa Mesa, California, where she spent the first semester of her high school sophomore year.[4] She spent her childhood and early teenage years training as a gymnast, which led her to modeling jobs.[5]
Elvis Presley
Elvis Aaron Presley[a] (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was an American singer, dancer and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King".
