I have found seven references to Adrenochrome across pop culture. This includes Monsters, Inc. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Weeds, Lewis, Maze Runner, Dark Crystal, and The Simpsons all make references to it.

Hocus Pocus is about witches trying to extract the youth out of children. Come Little Children is a song by the witch in the movie and is about hypnotizing children before they are killed for their youth.

I remember watching the dark crystal as a child and that scene was completely terrifying.. and to think it's referencing something real. Btw, was Bowie one of the bad guys?
