@puttitout - I've made this proposal a couple of times in the past to both you and Atko, but alas, I never got a response. I will make this offer again. This time on your open post:

I have always agreed with your philosophy and the voat principles that are the foundation of what you have built.

As I stated in previous messages, I have no desire to change these fundamentals. My only goal is to provide material assistance with the hopes of being part of something bigger than the sum of the parts. Maybe, sometime in the future, there might be some tangible return on investment. Then again, if it is not in the cards, I would still consider it money well spent.

I would like to know what you see as your short and medium term goals. Is it to find sufficient funding to allow you to devote your full-time efforts to voat? Is it to have sufficient funding to cover hosting? Do you need development assistance, or other professional services? What I am really asking is; What are you looking for?

I want to help, and I have access to resources that could provide significant funding, and/or professional assistance.

If you are interested, please send me a PM, and I will provide hard contact information.

They need to get 2-3 Linux devs with .net experience for about 2-3 months to get away from azure. This should reduce down the hosting by about 75% then they need to appoint someone to sales and marketing to monitize in a sustainable and acceptable way. So 50-60k budget on dev time 18 - 24 in hosting fees in the interim. At that point hosting should be sub 2k per month. Banner ads on the top of each sub charged based on popularity of sub aim for average of 500 usd per month. Breitbart would love a banner on top of politics or news. Now you just need to sell 8 - 10 per month to cover hosting costs and initial basic wage for a salesperson.

Its so close but they do need an angel, but they could implement the banners today if there was a will to do it.

Have at it. Don't know how to write software you say? Then maybe you should stop telling everyone how many people are needed and how long it will take for something you know nothing about.

He has no money, how was he going to hire these people again?

Has anyone talked to Beitbart regarding this? Or are you just assuming they want to advertise here? Oh right, you're talking so far out of your ass it's a game of twister to keep from tasting shit.

Putting a banner ad somewhere it easy. Finding someone willing to pay for the space is not.

Used to run an ecom Web dev business lots of hands on time with long beards though my skills are less useful, now run a contact centre largely selling advertising spaces. Have you seen brietbarts website? they would buy ad space on your anus and flog jumpers from it. Selling highly targeted advertising with reliable user statistics is really really easy.

Trying to contribute from my experience, but cheers for taking a dump on the situation, perhaps they might change their mind on that ass you were offering them.

This tells me you're little more than a stupid fag with zero industry experience trying to sound like he knows what he's talking about. If you did, you wouldn't be trying to make time and manpower estimates without looking at the code first.
