But that is how you beat trolls.

You're not beating the trolls.

IF admin is going to ban users we need a clear definition of:

Dox. What is dox? What is the definition @PuttItOut will be using going forward.

Manipulation. What is it? (Although if you go to the Voat preview site you will see Putt is working on some functional changes that I think will put some serious speed bumps on brigading.

I agree with this.

@thewebofslime went missing from Poal over a month ago. I see now why that is but I listen to the podcast and it would be concerning to me if he was a shill. It is something I would really want to know. I think a lot of his other followers would want to know too.

He has had a number of replies to you that you havent addressed and I see that as problematic. Ive tried to do some analysis to understand who is telling the truth and he has way more independently verifiable information than you do. Your response is to use ad hominem attacks. I have concerns with your dishonesty but you can clear something up for everyone if you want to be believed.

A few quick questions here.

This fucker makes posts here to lure people to his website, where he admits he captures their IPs and then compares them to hacker lists of data breaches so he can find out their RL identity. He bragged about it.

Voat captures your IP. Right? It says so. Voat is on the lower end of how much users get tracked but has a voting system in place so you can't hide unless you go out of your way. Facebook steals your entire history beyond even just the Internet. They are two ends of the spectrum.

If someone attacked Voat do you think admin wouldn't use https://whatismyipaddress.com/ip-lookup as the first step? It is standard operating procedure in IT.

If someone logged into your email account and Google reported a security breach and listed the IP address is that not the first thing you would look up? You would be able to see if it was your own device, someone you knew or a random intrusion from Russia.

If someone posted the logs of an attack on their site wouldn't you want to know who the malicious attacker was? For the good of everyone?

From the outside looking in you are acting guilty because you seem terrified that your IP address is exposed.

Google Analytics is easily blocked by uBlock Origins. If you right click and "View Source" on webofslime.com you can see that it is VERY bare bones. Your own device is tracking you a lot more than that site and is making your browsing history available to Amazon and Google.

Here are multiple examples of Voat tracking that Voat has ZERO to do with.

https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/voat.co

https://www.similarweb.com/website/voat.co#overview

https://www.trackalytics.com/website/voat.co/

It looks like you are being very dishonest and acting very guilty.

You and I can independently verify that the IP address from the second probing attack is legitimate. We can verify the username is legitimate. We can verify that CACI and QinetiQ work together in "Integrated Projects" using the same money earmarked for "Project Earnest Voice." webofslime.com was attacked within minutes of your hostility and now you are caught being dishonest about it.

then compares them to hacker lists of data breaches

This is publicly available information and @thewebofslime shares exactly how to use it. Poal.co hosts this information. PMYB2 downloaded the 300 GB download for anyone to use. Why should we not be allowed to see what is in there? Why would you want that material censored? You deleted the post about this in your own subverse. What do you have to hide if you are telling the truth? If you dont understand that your entire Internet history is out there being traded by companies and governments all over the world then your outrage is sorely misplaced.

Did you actually get doxxed? At any point? If you did then you are guilty.

One last question.

Why did you describe the attack as a DDoS attack?

@kevdude @NOMOCHOMO @think- @crensch

PS: This is why WoS has not been online for a month. It really makes you look like the asshole in this situation.

flotus - Wonderful to be back at @WRBethesda today. It was an honor to present the Purple Heart & meet some of our wounded warriors. Prayers for a swift recovery & thank you to the incredible leadership & staff at Walter Reed. God bless all our men & women who serve!

If you dont get past your feelings on this one and produce a legitimate explanation you can expect backlash from a lot of WoS fans from Poal. This will be discussed at the next podcast and I will be providing your response or lack thereof to the crew.

How about you guys go fuck yourselves. I know what you are trying to do and it isn't happening. v/Pizzagate is a research sub and not a trophy for webofslime to appropriate and leverage for his own personal gain.

@PuttItOut these faggots from Poal are actively trying to subvert your site and are taking advantage of the chaos caused by 'zyklon_b' in an attempt to do so.

mimes4peace ago

You claim @thewebofslime is trying to take over the subverse. Im not seeing where it says that anywhere. Lets ask him.

Maybe take a stab at answering the questions and evidence?

SandHog ago

Why bother? We've discussed this stuff to death and his sticking point has always been and still is that @Vindicator is compromised which is complete bullshit. If he was compromised all the stuff I have shared with him regarding a certain situation would have been leaked and I would have seen evidence of that happening. That has never happened.

@thewebofslime could have chosen to try working with those guys in an effort to find common ground in a way that benefited everyone but he didn't do that. He did the opposite of that. He is still doing the opposite of that and I'm not wasting any more time on it. If he really wanted to do what he says he does then he would try working with the v/pizzagate mods and not against them. The problem is that the way he approached things built up a ton of distrust on both sides. Maybe it's possible for both parties to hit the reset button and start over from scratch. I don't know. I'm not either one of them.

mimes4peace ago

Clearly @vindicator who is the one insisting that @thewebofslime is compromised. tO me you have that reversed.

SandHog ago

Maybe because neither of them are shills, dummy. I absolutely know that @Vindicator isn't. And I don't know that @webofslime really is, either. I do think his ego is too big and he is being a manipulative fucker for reasons that aren't completely clear to me. Maybe if he tried approaching the situation differently and was honest about what his intentions are and what it is he wants to achieve things could get resolved between them. Problem is that his actions thus far have already built so much distrust I don't know that they can be resolved. I know that he has eroded a great deal of trust that I had in him at the beginning and I started out defending him.

mimes4peace ago

I'm with you on they could both not be shills. Maybe you missed what I already said about it. But Vindicator made an ultimatum that Wos was a shill. Do you see the problem? The OP is willing to say that it could just be bad behavior. Right? Vindicator has not backed down. Why the ultimatum? Also there is the fact that there are shills somewhere and it seems like people should be working together to find them.

HOWEVER. The people claiming to find them were incorrect. If they "FOUND" WoS who you yourself say is not a shill. It sounds to me like you are drinking the KoolAid of the accusers. If WoS is not a shill then Vindicator Srayzie Shizy etc were wrong.

How would you react if these same people spent everyday making sure your comments and submissions were downvoted and added insults to boot?

I charted out a number of users based on a few things to compare political alignments. I dont see evidence that @ESOTERICshade is other than what he says. I didnt go far back enough to know if the other stuff was true or not but my question is if this person is a paid shill or not. Sure emotional people can make accounts and spread chaos. Im looking at an issue that is bigger than just Voat. I noticed you and think- were into wildlife.

https://i.imgur.com/ndskcoo.png

I feel like there is an important problem/solution that is staring us in the face here. Reddit Voat Poal even CNN and FOX all face the same problem. If they are all using (((tension centered strategies))) it should be easy to systematically counter. Maybe @virge is right and the best solution is public voting on these sites. The truth would reveal itself quickly. My take from this chart is that even if no one was a shill there was bound to be a collision given the frequency of posting between the accused and the accusers. Their posting was going to force readers to decide between them at some point. The question is who is more comfortable with not being believed and why. The difference is the accusers whose faction ended up with two rage quit account deleters cared a lot more about controlling communities than the others. @zyklon_b is no different and the amount of control just handed to him by the rage quitters defies reason. When these posters challenged their control over the communities they lashed out with ad hominem attacks. This reveals an interesting problem for moderators. Posters have nothing to lose when attacked by a group of moderators. Moderators are at an inherent disadvantage if they choose to persistently engage due to alts and accumulation of dissenters over time. The moderators in this situation are responsible for the paradox where they became so zealous that they lost control after a sustained campaign of accusing people of weird stuff that cant actually be verified unless you are admin.

I was really hoping my little chart would conclusively show who was a shill but there is a spectrum of possibilities. On one end @Crensch and @zyklon_b could be controlled opposition of each other and manipulating a handful of gullible people. On the other end nobody is a shill and the rage quit faction are merely classic morons. All a shame because everyone involved seemingly believes Pizzagate is real. Maybe they should work together? Ha.

Having public voting as an option or setting for each subreddit subverse etc might be the best solutions for highly targeted communities.

If Vindicator made an ultimatum that WoS was a shill then participated in shill behavior with other moderators then who really looks like the shill when WoS speaks up about it? I really dont think your position is based on anything other than your emotional attachment to the others who were criticising WoS. Maybe you can change my mind.

But I think we can all agree that there is a bigger picture issue here.

SandHog ago

I really don't care what you think random person from Poal. WoS can go make a post in v/Pizzagate mods and state point by point how he thinks pizzagate could be improved. Maybe something positive will come from that. Maybe not. That is my advice.

mimes4peace ago

There are two examples of that already happening.
