the implications of this you gotta understand, is that if true, semitic religions were definitely a polytheistic pantheon at one point and not a monethestic pantheon, which is two entirely different types of religion from the ground up

Most likely, Asherah is an angel. Today they call beings like this 'aliens', and in the past they called them 'gods' (hence the confusion about polytheism). Supposedly, they have (or at least can inhabit) physical bodies, and so they are likely 4th dimensional beings similar to us, but they probably have complete knowledge that gives them an absolute advantage over us (which is why it is so easy for them to trick us into believing they are gods). God, on the other hand, is a 5th dimensional being, is proven with math and cannot be compared to any lesser beings (not even with the angels). So, Asherah is certainly not God's consort. And monotheism is certainly the correct answer (at least in this 4-dimensional realm that we inhabit).

The king of these angels (we call him lucifer) wants to convince the entire world that he is God, and so that is probably why Asherah is identified as God's wife (actually lucifer's "wife"). Monotheism vs. pantheism is complicated because these angels are very good at convincing us land-dwellers that they really are gods, hence polytheism. Monotheism, on the other hand, is proven with mathematics and logic rather than with flying machines that scare your horses, and laser rifles that kill from afar (zeus).

Yeah, the linked comments don't prove @theoldones is a pedophile. If you click into them and look at the context, it's obvious theoldones is asking Decidueye to put his account where his mouth is. Dortex is trying to smear him for this. It's an intentionally dishonest trick, and for it to work relies on people either not clicking the links or only paying slight attention to the contents. That said, many will do one of those two and the smear will work on them. It's a skilled manipulation, I'll give it that much. I didn't actually realize how dishonest and manipulative Dortex was until seeing it for myself. @Mumbleberry did try to warn me, and I should have listened to him.

IIRC, Moses' group of Israelites left Egypt, stayed hidden in the desert until they conquered the Canaanites, and had converted to monotheism during their time in the desert.

That means that the YHWH worshipers could be both polytheistic and monotheistic, depending on the sect. Those who went through the desert ordeal went monotheistic, those that stayed close to their Assyrian roots stayed polytheistic.

Hard to tell, because of the whole Muhammadanism overtake of the region.

Zoroastrianism had monotheistic tendencies - a single creator god. Maybe they were an offshoot. I just picked up a book about Qataban, but I'm no expert.
