becuae i nerd the fuck out on information, i remembered something interesting
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asherah
Asherah is identified as the queen consort of the Sumerian god Anu, and Ugaritic El,[1] the oldest deities of their respective pantheons,[2] as well as Yahweh, the god of Israel and Judah.[3]
what's voats thoughts on this diety, and whether or not she'd be a "live goddess" in the current day?
the implications of this you gotta understand, is that if true, semitic religions were definitely a polytheistic pantheon at one point and not a monethestic pantheon, which is two entirely different types of religion from the ground up

Its our oldest origin story it seems. It is critically important to know where you are coming to be able to know the direction you are headed to. I am sure the basement in the Vatican holds enough evidence to understand it properly.

that's probably the least of the knowledge the crinkly bastards sit on.

The problem is they would rather destroy everything than let you in there.
