Stretch and do at least 20 mins of cardio first to be most effective... heart rate has to be up to burn fat efficiently while building muscle. Doing fewer at a slower even pace is much better than doing many at a faster rate. But your push ups will be much more effective if you at least do some jumping jacks or jog in place first... start with 2-3 minutes then 5, then 10, 15... then 20. When you are ready to get very lean do at least 35 mins of cardio prior... always stretch before and after, stretch first thing when you wake up. Drink a glass of room temp distilled water first thing upon waking up as well.

if you are used to resistance training, try the 100 pushups per day thing. do 100 per day, however many per set, and spaced out any way, working towards being able to knock them out in one session of just a few sets. this helps build a bit of strength and get the joints conditioned for transitioning to weight training. at least for upper body. body-weight squats for lower.

My work starts at 7:30. I do two sets 0f ten before work i do two sets of ten at 10:15 break and two sets of ten at 2:30 break. Sometimes I throw in a couple at lunch. And when I get home I sometimes do other workouts.

Its not about gains, its about making it a habit.

Burpees will put some hair on your ass. We used to get punished with these motherfuckers back in the old highschool football days. If we lost, it was take the deficit, multiply it by 4, and you got to do that many burpees (immediately after sprints) after each practice the next week.

Genetics also plays a factor here. There's a mutation that's found in I believe all or nearly all Olympic athletes that allows their muscles to produce more explosive power. A downside to this mutation is they have reduced endurance. I am one of those mutants, I can confirm I get pooped easy.

Probably one of the best purchases I've ever made. The gyms I've been to are always busy, and I hate waiting for someone to get done so I can use a machine or some weights. Most gyms don't even have enough benches and barbells anyway, just all machines and treadmills. Seriously every goat should do the same if they've got space.

Pull ups are a fantastic exercise, but not everyone can do them right off the bat. Push ups will help with that.

Yeah you're right. In case anyone actually follows my advice: If you can't do a pull-up, do reverse pull-ups or whatever they're called... Get on a step stool, and start your pull-up at the top, then slowly let yourself down until your arms are fully extended. That's 1 rep.

I do this at work so Im limited. Im looking for a solid place to do pull/chin ups as well.

My over all point here ia to establish the habit. It has to be ingrained. Ive gotten to the point that on my weekends I actually miss it. Thats the point. I dont care about gains I want to beat a habit into my routine day. Every god damn day 5 days a week I hit the floor when I get to work. And at breaks.

And I want Voat to beat this routine into their day.

Running is great exercise, but it really wears on your knees. I’ve switched to mountain biking on my cardio days and it’s so much fucking fun. I wish I’d done it sooner. It’s like being on a roller coaster.

Can you throw something in next post about cutting sugar? Even if it’s just reducing intake by 1/4 to start with. Our condition coach he is do that and it’s made an enormous difference. I’m late-mid teens young so I’m lucky to have a fast metabolism but our coach used to be overweight and after he dropped sugar he got lost weight fast. When he had us do it our muscles became more defined because of the fat loss but more importantly we had even more energy, more endurance, clearer thinking, etc. and we beat some of our team training records by over 15%!!

Every time you buy a soda or energy drink,

First, you give jews your money, so stop...

But second, walk over to the sink or water fountain, pour out a little (~ounce) and top off the can or bottle with water.

You will never notice, and dump a little bit more in a week or two. If you get wise, you will keep a old (clean) can or bottle and mix 50%/50% with water every time you buy one. Then an little more, and a little more....

This is a good way to ease yourself off of "the juice (the jews)" and introduce water into your life.

You probably know more about the sugar thing for instance. But the beginning has to be about doing it every day. No excuses. Thats why the bar is set relatively low. I remember there was a point where I didn't drink any soda for over a year. I tried a sip of coke and it tasted like shit. It's acid + some sugar jew. Literally poison.

I second adding this to your next post OP. No more soda or dessert foods (ice cream, cookies, etc.) is a good start. Don't have to go full paleo to start, but just cutting blatant sources of sugar kike is extremely helpful.
