How fragile is your mental state that you are offended by words that come out of another person's mouth. I have never been offended in my life because I realize words are harmless and I choose not to give that power over me to someone else. It's scary to think about how soft children born today will grow up to be. Especially considering almost everything will probably be automated by the time they reach adulthood. Teach your children that it is wrong to be offended.

After watching 2 of my neices grow up, one left leaning and the other is right leaning, I'm starting to understand the left better. The left niece thinks with her emotions more. She has an emotional reaction then tries to put some logic to it, the right one accepts the facts only then has a reaction. The left one is also far more susceptible to some one else emotions, I think she makes that connection and simply wants to believe. The other one you have to convince your right. It's kind of fascinating watching their brains work.

I think people are mistaking the difference between being offended and becoming angry. No one should ever be offended by anything and you should become angry about many things.

I would be angry, anger is different than being offended. At least the way I Define it is because being offended is like being hurt or having hurt feelings because of something someone said. Anger is 100% completely different
