The user who offered to buy a voat account is from Shareblue (whatever)
submitted 7.8 years ago by NeedleStack
Remember that post from 4 days ago where user JohnCStevenson offered to buy an established voat account? Here is the post if you missed it. He deleted his post but stupidly put his email address in the post "johncstevensonSB (at) gmail (dot) com" (SB being for Shareblue naturally) so yes, it was his post.
I was just looking at the Shareblue domain page on voat and noticed that the same user posted a direct ShareBlue link 3 days ago: Russia is "coming after America", and Trump doesnt care
I figured you guys would want to know about this connection so you can be alert for similar shenanigans in the future.
Stay vigilant, goats! :)
Edit: JohnCStevenson is crying to /v/ProtectVoat about my post now.

Haha. He wants to buy an account from "someone who has influence on Voat".
Typical lefty expecting sheep at a goat pen. Tsk tsk.

I thought about doing this. Just so I can have concrete evidence of a shill in action then i thought better of it. Why make it easier for them?

I'd sell one of my older accounts for money, as long as it was enough. I'd then come back with proof of the sale and call the fucker out on it.

They would make you sign an NDA on it.
OK I'd come back with a strong suggestion that that's what happened using a spoofed MAC and a Starbucks wifi.
Could work, i wouldn't bother though. They are just adding names to the list. Good way to get your real name out would be to sign a contract with the devil.
