- Create account-B on device 2
- UPvote any comment with account-A, confirm gray UPvote turn blue.
- Same comment with account-B, confirm see gray UPvote means you didn't vote with this account.
- UPvote and get error "Denied - Vote has already been registered (Comment Vote Identity 2.8)".
Only thing in common is your IP. No way for voat to know other than they log your IP.
Source code on github is over a year old, no mention of logging IP.
I submitted a request to log 3/4 of your IP to ensure trolls and shills are identified and the idea was knocked down for spying and free speech and not wanting to identify people to comments. It's all a lie.

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled ip cannot be used as an identifier.
Not gonna prevent you from getting on a list or having some .gov goons kick in your door and then your teeth, but when you go to court they will need a bit more then that.
