You seriously can't believe this can you? How would Djurdjevic even know about her?

Vindicator ago

I know nothing of her CV/history, so I it's just a question at this point. Do we have a thread showing where Djurdjevic was working and living at different times? Because it sure as hell looks to me like she painted Anderson Cooper as a kid, too.

Wow. You like your longshots don't you. Are you saying Anderson Cooper posed for her as a kid?

Might I suggest this is confirmation bias. And if we employ critical thinking, we can see how important this is.

I'm saying we should compare their timelines before we rule it out. The fact that the backgrounds of her paintings look very very similar to the Biltmore Estate, which is owned by Cooper's family, seems a bit more than "improbable". Your own confirmation bias is causing you to dismiss it.

We should be able to find out if Djurdjevic had any association with the Vanderbilts. Of course it's also possible that she painted the pictures from photos taken by the abusers, and was never there in person.

@think- @letsdothis3 @swordfish69 @kestrel9 See thread. Have we ever compared their timelines?

Yes, strikingly similar. And also remember that the pool in at least one of her paintings very much looks like the pool of the Biltmore Estate. (Not saying it's the same pool, but the similarity is odd.)

I put on my laundry list 'archive snippets of all photos of the Vanderbilt tapestry, and the tapestry Djurdjevic used in her paintings. So far, there isn't any of those tapestries that match 100%.

An 'innocent' explanation would be that she only did a tour at the Vanderbilt estate, and got inspired to use similar backgrounds.

A more sinister explanation would be that some sinister stuff has been going on there, and she witnessed it.

Third possibility: She was commissioned to do the paintings in a way that it's not 100% the Biltmore Estate, but everybody in the know will recognize the site in her paintings.
