I still support the 100 CCP barrier. It would be enforced by the mod checking to see the number of points for the pizzagate sub. If an account doesn't meet the requirement, the member can't post and any submission is removed.
Are we in agreement? What about the above @Vindicator? Can we propose this?
Mods have no way of seeing how much CCP a user has gained inside v/pizzagate, quantokitty. Users can see their own stats on this, but mods can't.
Are you saying you want to create an additional submission rule that sets a minimum overall CCP in order to post? That is, rather than turning on the minimum CCP to downvoat setting or the "approved submitter" setting, you want to make a new rule manually enforced by mods that all submissions from users with less than 100 CCP sitewide will be removed?
That is an interesting idea and certainly possible, as far as I can see. It wasn't one of the proposals discussed in VieBleu's original thread or in the sticky I made based on it, though. Are you asking me to add this as a proposal and ping people in to take a look?
Yes, that seems to be the only workaround I can see from the variables given.
I hate the "approved submitter" so much that it makes me bite down on my cheek and draw blood when I think about it. So I think this might work. Theoretically, I love the freedom of opening an account and posting, but the forum has really been under attack by shills abusing it for their own agenda. It's been happening so much that I even noticed it, and that's unusual.
I say we put it up for a vote and see if it flies.
Oh, dear Lord! Why did I get pulled into this? Why?
I thought you wanted to limit posting to people who had proved themselves in pizzagate. Do you just want to lock out new accounts for a bit?
No, we want to limit people with shiny new ten minute old accounts from posting one hundred times. That's what's going on. Are some of these sock puppet accounts from members with older membership? Of course they are!
If people with older accounts submit shit posts: GREAT! You immediately identify them as shills and that's a win for all of us because we can now identity who's what because part of the game being played includes subterfuge. They don't want their true leanings exposed. They ccounonly expose it on these "disposable" sock puppet accounts that are abandoned after the mass postings that knock legitimate posts off the screen.
Please go to the NEW postings page. There are FOUR pretty much identical posts about Arpaio in a concerted attack. Let's go in order of who's posting and how many CCP points they have:
ChangingPerspective CCP: 4
NSAiswatching CCP: 11
argosciv CCP: 265
sweetholymosiah CCP: 1652
There's only two accounts that would have qualified to post. Both sweetholymosiah & argosciv have blown their covers by posting this shit. That's an eight month and 2.2 year account gone ... puff! because we all know what kind of accounts they are now.
So instead of two posts, we have FOUR on the NEW listings. And they were kept off the HOT listings because people effectively downvoated them.
If it keeps posts down and makes shills blow their covers, great! Win-win.
There we go with that point again! What difference would it make what sub they were collected in? And if that's the sticking point, add a freakin' new stat that says: PIZZAGATE CONTRIBUTION POINTS that tallies how many points you have in this forum.
You have: CCP 55875. My simplified method would mean the mod would say: "WOWZA! 55875 is over 100! Let him submit!" Doesn't that take one second?
Remember: Some of these shills have been on the site for a HOT FIFTEEN MINUTES! Nonetheless they submit twenty posts!
I think just having mods enforce the submission guidelines would be more efficient than having them check everyone's profiles.
No, this wouldn't since the posts are technically about #pizzagate. They're just STUPID posts about #pizzagate.
It takes one second to look up in the corner and see someone's score. It's what I've been trying to say. Before the mod checks the headline or post, s/he glances up in the corner and sees the CCP score. If the score is not at least 100, the post goes bye-bye. Quick, clean, and simple.
Yes, I am. I didn't even know this issue existed before I got pinged and dragged into this.
I understand now that you've explained. But the point is that I can see the stats of CCP. It was "2". I still don't understand why a moderator can't see "2" and say, "Goddamn! "2" is less than "100", and delete the post. But again, for the millionth time, WHAT IS A WORKAROUND? Give a viable option for what could be done to prevent shills from exploiting the system and stop with the sarcastic posts! It helps nothing and we have a problem to solve, so let's solve it.
I didn't even know about this post or this problem and got pinged into this quagmire. I'm not the shill or the enemy so whether you think I'm an idiot or not is irrelevant. We need a way to stop shit posting. That is our mission. So devote your considerable analytical skills to solving the problem and not to bashing me.
No the point is use this post to see what we're talking about. The goal is to fight shills, right? Well I just made a new account the way shills do and your settings didn't prevent it from posting. Also I wanted you to see how new accounts are affected. Upvote my comments, then in 10 min check this account's profile. You will see it is still zero.

I am open to that. I think it will get buried if we do it in the sticky that is up now, though.
quantokitty ago
Agree. Maybe in the next sticky.

Are you saying that there is a way to tell the CCP count to the pizzagate sub?

@quantokitty check the settings on this subverse. It is 100ccp. Yet I made a post with this 0ccp account.
quantokitty ago
No. It says 2. CCP: 2.
There's no 100 ... anywhere ...
Again, for the last time: I support reinstating the 100 CCP barrier before members can post a submission.
Thanks, goodbye.
