Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan

Question for further research: Is this left-hand-path sufism?

I always thought Sufis were 'innocent mystics' (lol), until I did a post about a Sufi clergyman that abused girls in Britain, and found that there is a dark left-hand-path in Sufism.

Will try to find more info.

Thank you for your post. Yes, there is indeed a dark left-hand path of Sufism that goes way back into Turkic-Mongolian Shamanism. This is a current interest of mine and i'm trying to find out what I can...Gurdjieff was a magician/mystic who is the one to pay attention to - he was the main inspiration of Abramovic and lot of other influential people. Some academics say that 'Jewish' Kabbala actually came from the Sufis. Sufism is a mystic path of interest to many of the elite as well. The Bektashi Order of Albania seem to be the most corrupt of the various orders. There is definitely a truly good side to Sufism, which of course has nothing to do with all of the magical practices. Thank you for the links! I will check them.

I wonder whether you are familar with the excellent work of user @9217?

They published some great articles on Steemit, and linked them to v/pizzagate. Among them some research on Gurdjieff and Abramovic:
