First rule of v/pizzagate: We will ban your butt pronto if you directly link to illegal pornographic images of kids
However, that doesn't mean you can't share research about pedo pornographers and organize campaigns to raise public outcry and force service providers to take down sites. Here's how to do so without endangering Voat or fellow voaters:
- NEVER use the Link button to submit a dangerous url; always make a Discuss post
- Break any link that leads to CP by adding spaces into the url so that users must copy and paste it into their browser
- Precede dangerous urls or those that lead to them with a clear warning in bolded ALL CAPS of what lies beyond and that researchers proceed at their own risk and take proper security precautions.
- If possible, try to make sure researchers have to click through at least two layers down before encountering actual images
- Flair your post NSFW
- Verbally describe the content you have found in enough detail to let other researchers decide how to proceed
As added insurance, mods may flair a post "Potential Security Risk".
Outting these slime and the human turds who protect and fund them is a vital part of our mission, and Voat's anti-censorship commitment make this one of the few forums where documenting that effort is possible. Let's help each other use that power and freedom responsibly.

How does posting links to CP have anything whatsoever to do with PG? No one has to ever go to CP on the Internet to spread awareness. This is either a really bad idea, or a reasonably well-planned coup to disrupt the PG investigation.

oftotc, investigating the perpetrators, documenting their financial and social networks and reporting them to authorities has always been an important part of this investigation. Mobilizing social networking of our membership to report CP and child exploitation on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram has also been major for us because it often takes many voices to force hosts to take down these creeps.
Examples in the past 24 hours include:

No doubt, and keep up the good work. I think that:
...is a gateway. One could disguise a content distribution network under the guise of "protecting the children", which should be a familiar tactic to anyone studying these topics. Be skeptical of anyone encouraging you search for data that will expose you and your systems to CP regardless of their publicly stated goals.
People who think this is ok, also be aware that you are enabling the abusers and potentially gestating the next perpetrator. Be careful what you ask for.

You do realize that those offering this material on the internet do not want us infiltrating their sites, reporting them to law enforcement and web hosts. They most certainly aren't going to post here leading us to themselves.
