The ongoing issue with the bogus DMCA notice, which blocks v/pizzagate from the results in general due to a false copyright claim, was first documented here: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1690808
A recommended strategy to avoid censorship when reaching out to the public is shown here: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1691547
Now the latest: If you do a google search of pizzagate, there is only ONE result for VOAT on the front page that seems promising (linking to the top of Voat). However, it is very insidious as the detailed quote literally debunks our efforts with these comments - "pizzagate is just a ridiculously dumb conspiracy theory" as shown below:
/v/pizzagate - Voat
https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/new
2. There won't ever be any pizzagate arrests, because pizzagate is just a ridiculously dumb conspiracy theory. NANANANANA (s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com).
Here is the link of a screen capture of the results of a search on pizzagate showing this (2nd result listed is for voat, with the negative insinuation shown underneath the link): https://postimg.org/image/ghckipfnz/
We should all note that the comments in the result shown above do not actually show on the "new" page and are more evidence of direct manipulation of results by google to limit exposure of pizzagate by voat to the general public. Normally, google's search algorithm would place multiple results for v/pizzagate on page one, given voat's focus on pizzagate as a topic, with constant new information and heavy links pointing internally and externally, and with "pizzagate" in our actual domain name. We should dominate a search on this term but instead get one lousy result on page one that tries to discredit our efforts.
This is some great evidence of the reality that pizzagate is real and is being actively suppressed, something that I have found to be eye-opening to those who find the truth hard to swallow, especially the idea that such a big scandal could be hidden from public view.

I like it a lot! :) You go girl!
reasonedandinformed ago
Okay, Alefantis, we will just drop all the evidence against you and go away… Not. Exposed, you CTR troll.

Not sure if this has been said yet but voat.co/v/pizzagate seems to be excluded from search results because it's encompassed in an unrelated DMCA (copyright) takedown request. Scroll to the bottom when you search "pizzagate" on google and it says:
View the complaint then ctrl+f search the page for Pizzagate, voat.co/v/pizzagate is listed in the URLS to be removed from search results. The complaint: https://www.lumendatabase.org/notices/13959495

Well aware of. This was exposed on Saturday., and it is directly referenced in my actual post at the top.

Maybe I should put my foot up your ass.

Seriously? What is wrong with you?!
reasonedandinformed ago
He's CTR. There are two in this thread which means that exposing the censorship is a concern for them.
reasonedandinformed ago
Good points. I am not advocating that we abandon pizzagate but that we supplement it with other approaches. Many paths to find voat will lead to more visitors given the strong effort to block our outreach.

Listen to the advice in the first half hour of https://youtu.be/1LCi39NgOEA it comes from a software engineer and it's spot on. We adjust our language to begin referring to Pizzagate as things like Procter & Gamble because they can't filter their advertisers. ;)
reasonedandinformed ago
I need to watch this; nice idea, but we still need to have people connect to the idea. I like #pedogate and #SaveTheKids.
reasonedandinformed ago
Actually, I am seeing the same results as you now, but this was my result an hour ago: https://postimg.org/image/ghckipfnz/. They keep changing. The big point is that they are being manipulated. Our subverse should have several listings on page one based on the search algorithm. Wikipedia should never be top of page as it does not get nearly the activity, two-way linking, and traffic as this platform. The DMCA notice at the bottom (which shows that pizzagate is still being directly censored for a bogus copyright infringement of anime of all things) is just more evidence of the censorship. I wanted to document more evidence of the censorship and reinforce the strategy to use other methods to try to get people to this platform(#pedogate + point here https://voat.co/v/humanrights/1490856 to avoid the use of the censored pizzagate word to generate broader awareness to those who do not know about pizzagate or voat).

I was getting the same result as you, exact, I'm in southern USA. Just FYI. This was three hours ago. Just checked and now it's gone. That pig guy spammer threw out four or five posts at same time (about three hours ago), hard to believe Google would have (by bot) crawled and ranked it that fast but I guess it's possible, (They only crawl once a month if that much.) I used to have some page one articles and they were no. one across the USA according to my page views and also according to Google Analytics.
reasonedandinformed ago
Yep. It is being manipulated. A platform with the name pizzagate in it, with our heavy activity and links, and we have a single post on page 1, not in top position. Right...it's a natural result...not!
bopper ago
Mr. Pig guy got ranked number one, pretty quickly (and then was removed just as quickly), and for a big popularly trending subject (pizzagate).

It definitely shows that someone is manipulating the results. It could be someone in the CIA using bots to create clicks to shitposts and disinfo posts. By the way, this has been going on basically since we moved here to Voat. Within the first week or two, Google's only search result for /v/pizzagate was a deleted obvious shill/troll post that was heavily downvoted.
satansapedophile ago
Pretty sure that post about Pizzaoids and Chemical X was real but you dickheads downvoted it into oblivion. Pizzagate's a lot deeper than pedophiles at Comet Ping Pong.
reasonedandinformed ago
Yes. But we need to periodically raise this topic as it can be a great way to convert people who are skeptical of the broad conspiracy. It also highlights the need to be creative in our outreach since the bulk of the world relies on google for their search results. This is why I set up the alternative path for people to get here without ever typing the word pizzagate: https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1691547
DarkMath ago
I just tried that search and I don't see that "ridiculously dumb conspiracy theory" text.
I think I know what happened though. Earlier today our favorite shill who I've dubbed "Lord Haw-Haw" made about 20 posts with that "dumb conspiracy theory" text in it.
For example:
https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1696983
I don't know for sure and could be wrong but I think google crawled that page or other identical pages at just the right time for it to have show up in your search results. Like I said I don't get that "dumb conspiracy" result in my list.
The first google result with voat in it for me reads:
/v/pizzagate - Voat https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/new Spiral Toys: Kids toy CloudPets target of major data breach; millions of audio messages compromised (washingtontimes.com). submitted 1.7 hours ago by ...
Lord Haw-Haw https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord_Haw-Haw
reasonedandinformed ago
Yes. It is a moving target. I posted a screen shot in my post above now, so you can see what I captured. It just is great evidence of the censorship, which is some of the strongest evidence we have on how big this is...and helps to explain to people how something this large could be hidden.

Pedogate gets
sexygood search results though!reasonedandinformed ago
Yes. I like #pedogate to explain the disgusting evil we are trying to expose and eradicate. #SaveTheKids is our mission.
