Trying to follow your reasoning. So the idea is to bring a bunch of attention to elite pedos by these people and then do what? Make money off of it? Would that be the ultimate goal? Because even if they're shills or imposters or whatever the hell, they're still bringing attention to get people into investigating it themselves.
The only other situation I can see that would be relative, if even in a different context, is the Never Trump crowd of mouthpieces who had always made their money writing books and being columnist touting their CONservative politics. ie: Mark Levin, Michelle Malkin, Bill Krystol ect.
