Controversial but much needed post was HERE. I urge sensitivity but also honest reflection.

There is an undeniable link between homosexuality and paedophilia. We might hate it, we might feel uncomfortable admitting it, but it is there and its undeniable. But it is also true that it does not reflect on ALL gays, not by any stretch.

These two facts are not mutually exclusive and can both be true.

Let me tell you my experience as a Social Worker who worked in child protection, childrens homes, mental health units and sex offenders (probation) hostels.

Almost all the pedos were male. Thats well established. Almost all were of a character type and personality that if you didn't know their crimes, you would peg them as gay. Their mannerisms, behaviour, speech, interests - all the hallmarks. Some were openly gay. Some during counselling admitted to homosexual relationships, often with much older men when they were teens or young adults struggling with their sexual identity. Its also true that in prisons, hostels such as i worked in, there were lots of sexual relationships between men who were 'paedophiles'. So the two sexual persuasions are not mutually exclusive either, nor are they necessarily together. But there were far more gays within the client group i worked with, paedophiles, than there were 'straight' men. In fact the majority of paedophiles i worked with were men who were attracted to boys, which various research puts at a ration of 2:1 more homosexual:heterosexual paedphiles.

These are all uncomfortable trues, self-evident in my working life. If anyone finds that offensive, NOT SORRY, its time to separate your emotional reaction and politically correct impulses with an honest, objective look at factual evidence.

If i were a paedophile - I know what my strategy would be. I would gravitate to the LGBT community where i can always obfuscate who i really am, and can hide behind the shield of political correctness and LGBT victimhood narratives. would also know that there are going to be LOTS of other like minded men in that community who i would end up in contact with - either to form relationships, to colaborate on grooming victims, to swap notes and contacts and 'material'. And yes if i was a sick psychopathic pedo, I'd consider a mutualy beneficial 'gay marriage' with another pedo, so that i could adopt - preferably very young and or foreign born - children. Its the perfect setup. Who would challenge or accuse me in this PC-obsessed world?

THE EXAMPLE OF ELTON JOHN

Please do not assume I am convicted Elton John of anything. I am merely correlating various known facts, 'red flags', accusations and scandals and presenting them as an archetype of what might be going on.

Here's looking at you Elton John - who is in a gay marriage and adopted two SONS. and also has 10 GOD CHILDREN, most of them boys

He had paedophilic art seized by the UK police in 2007

He was accused of a proclivity for young rent boys in 1989, including accusations he diddled a 10 year old boy but he sued Rupert Murdoch successfully (not an acknowledgement of innocence but that's another debate).

In 2014 this article summarised a number of pedo related suspicions

Some of you might remember the precedent setting legal case he took out to prevent newspapers reporting a scandal in 2016 - called a 'super-injunction'. In short he had an orgy with at least one other man and his husband, while his tow adopted boys were in the house. The internet was awash with rumours that he was hosting orgies all the time and it was an open secret. The internet has been scrubbed of the details. MEMORY HOLED (to keep in line with the current Orwellian mood). I don't have the time to find and its getting late in the UK.

So whats my point?

That YES YES YES it makes total sense for pedos, be they homosexually attracted pedos or not, to use gay marriage and then adoption as a front for child abuse. Totally. How widespread this is, who knows, but you would have to be an idiot to not see it logically fits. Does this reflect on all gays, absolutely not. I have met many. The shield of political correctness is incredibly powerful. I know from working in a PC-claustrophic environment (social work), that even with significant concerns - there would be FAR FAR less chance of anyone having the guts to investigate let alone accuse a gay couple than a straight couple, of abusing children in their care. This is because of fear of the automatic pushback "you are only saying that because you are prejudiced, gays being pedophiles is an old myth". In fact in PC-mad Britain, you would probably be shut down or even fired for discussing your concerns with colleagues.

IN SHORT - you would have far more cover being in a gay marriage, than if you were in a heterosexual marriage.

Again, the perfect cover. And again - not saying all or even many gays would be inclined to this behaviour.

In fact i have a friend whose son is gay and works in LA (myself and friend are UK based). His gay son confided that there is a big pedo problem in the LA gay scene and its well known among that circle, and he worries terribly that if it comes out all gays will be bashed and judged the same.

What do you guys think?

Whoa. . . . that is a myth cooked up by male-supremacist religion to hide the reality that the sexual abusers of our children are MALE and they are HETEROSEXUAL males.

Heterosexual males are 100X more likely to sexually abuse a child than a homosexual.

It's very easy to lie to the public about pedophilia because many automatically assume that if a pedophile is a male and sexually assaults a young male that this is about homosexuality -- but it is NOT.

Pedophilia is about the AGE of the victim -- not the gender -- !!

Here's one of the studies done on this subject -- but there is no way that Mothers/parents can protect their children from pedophiles unless they understand WHO those pedophiles are. And, again, they are MALE (which even right wing women's groups agree with) and they are heterosexual males according to studies ...

Yes, I know that there are preferences for boys or girls -- and will try to look it up and see what's being said about it.

Here's something that further complicates what any of us think about pedophilia -

In addition not all child molesters are pedophiles. In my experience, many child molesters are not pedophiles. A pedophile is an individual who prefers to have sex with children. A person who prefers to have sex with an adult partner may, for any number of reasons, decide to have sex with a child. Such reasons might include simple availability, opportunity, curiosity, or a desire to hurt a loved one of the molested child. The erotic imagery and sexual fantasies of such individuals are not necessarily recurrent, intense, and focused on children; therefore, these people are not pedophiles.>

AND -- speaking to differences between preferential and situational sexual abusers of children.

•Finally, the Dutch Government issued a report on child sexual abuse in 2014 which concluded that only 20% of child molesters have a paraphilia, meaning that 80% are non-paraphilic, but even more are non-pedophiles, since some of those had different paraphilias. It also says something very interesting: that violent sexual offenses against children are much more likely to be committed by non-pedophiles than by pedophiles. This clearly speaks to the very different motivations for offending between situational offenders — most likely frustration and anger, leading to a violent offense — and preferential offenders, or pedophiles— a misguided ‘love’ and the notion that the child welcomes the sexual experience. My outlook on that at the moment is that if you set fire to someone's property you're an arsonist and the motivation doesn't change that.

And I think if the Catholic Church/Vatican ever releases its records on their pedophile priests, we may know a lot more about this brain disease. While it is clear that males are the sexual abusers of children, many Catholic children have suffered sexual abuse by nuns. And studies do make clear that when females come under the influence of heterosexual males -- as in the case of remarriage or male-supremacist religion - they will sexually abuse children. There is a long history -- like 2,000 years - of sexual abuse by pedophile priests in the RCC. For the present discussion, the important point is that many child molesters cannot be meaningfully described as homosexuals, heterosexuals, or bisexuals (in the usual sense of those terms) because they are not really capable of a relationship with an adult man or woman. Instead of gender, their sexual attractions are based primarily on age. These individuals – who are often characterized as fixated – are attracted to children, not to men or women. >

The distinction between a victim's gender and a perpetrator's sexual orientation is important because many child molesters don't really have an adult sexual orientation. They have never developed the capacity for mature sexual relationships with other adults, either men or women. Instead, their sexual attractions focus on children – boys, girls, or children of both sexes. >

By contrast, other molesters are described as regressed. Regression is "a temporary or permanent appearance of primitive behavior after more mature forms of expression had been attained, regardless of whether the immature behavior was actually manifested earlier in the individual's development" (Groth & Birnbaum, 1978, p. 177). Regressed offenders have developed an adult sexual orientation but under certain conditions (such as extreme stress) they return to an earlier, less mature psychological state and engage in sexual contact with children.

Actually, I think it may be help our thinking on this to consider all sexual abusers of children as "child molesters" -- some of whom can be called true pedophiles in the sense that they only desire pre-pubescent children, but others who have sex with adults but who do molest children when faced with stressful situations, such as the unavailability of adult females.

While I have to acknowledge that there are preferences -- by age, gender, appearance it seems to be confirmed once again that this has nothing to do with bi-sexuality or homosexuality.

Once again, it is reconfirmed that child molesters of children are MALE and they are heterosexual males.

I have to say again that I think the Catholic Church probably knows more about this subject than anyone else -- and from what I recall of two of their child molesting priests, they were extremely comfortable in what they were doing, abusing 100 or more children each. In one case, a nun recalled observing the priest visiting her third grade class tongue kissing a young girl. He also regularly sexually abused boys -- one in a body cast in a hospital lying on his stomach! Another one seemed to be equally driven, but eventually left the priesthood and married and had children. And last I heard of him he was trying to molest the teenage baby sitter.

I get the jist of what you're saying and I don't agree. I am opposed to anything that seeks to excuse the debased behaviors of pedophiles and this is just that.

There is no excuse, save being literally retarded, for inappropriate interactions with children. A married man will not molest a child out of curiousity. Neither will he molest a child opportunistically. However pedophiles would. Abusing children is a crime. Does the average individual ever murder someone out of curiousity or availability? Or do they rape people for these reasons? "Why'd you rape your wife's sister?" Unto which he replies, "I was only curious and the opportunity presented itself so I jumped on it." It's absurd. If you touch a child inappropriately, you're a pedophile. People who are not pedophiles don't even think about it, let alone do it.

I am not going to sit here and make excuses for people who abuse children.
