The Alefantis Facebook Messenger video is fake and you can verify it yourself very easily. Here is how. (pizzagate)

Earlier, someone posted a link to a video where they reproduce a fake messenger conversation with Alefantis.

Here's the thing. Above the Facebook chat box, there are a few icons. When you message someone on Facebook who isn't your friend, the video and audio icons are greyed out, because you can't video call or audio call people who aren't your friends. The icons look like they look in the "faking" video. In the "verification" video, guess what? The icons are not greyed out. For some reason, he can start a video or audio call with this guy who is not his friend (and clearly has pretty high privacy settings).

Try it out yourself. Open a chat box with a friend and a stranger on Facebook. Notice the difference.

He's edited a chat he had with a friend using the method described in the video. He's taking you for a ride. Don't fall for it.

Why do you think he mentions his website (PizzaGateGear) in every video? It's a website dedicated (edit: solely dedicated) to selling things. He's cashing in.

This guy is making a claim that could be libel, and sued in court if he's lying. Selling shirts is a bit on the questionable side, maybe. But how much do you think he'd make selling 100 shirts? Ever tried to sell shirts online, it's near impossible. It's not a get rich quick scheme, or make a bunch of money quick scheme. Nothing wrong with questioning his evidence of the threats, but I don't see the selling of shirts as a reason to immediately discredit his intentions.

I get the disdain for people trying to profit from the investigation. But how is it any different than Reality Calls or David Seaman (arguably some of the best faces for Pizzagate). They literally ask for donations. If you give 20 bucks to either of them for a donation, they get all of it. If you give 20 bucks for a shirt, he might get 3 or 4 bucks. I don't get the separation, in fact, it seems quite a bit less profitable to sell shirts than to directly ask for donations.

And Alefantis could be jailed for years for uttering death threats. Which is more likely? This guy is stupid enough to commit libel, or Alefantis, a man supposedly smart enough to run an entire pedophile ring under the nose of Washington DC, is stupid enough to openly threaten murder?

I don't think your comparisons are fair, so I'm not picking one of your options. I don't think Alefantis is running a pedo ring in DC. I think he's probably dirty, but I'm not convinced of a huge organized pedo ring. He could have caught JA drunk, or on a coke binge. Or JA could really just feel untouchable. I'm not ready to take a stance either direction on this yet, but I'm keeping my eyes open.

Assuming £10 profit on a £20 shirt, £1000. Not bad for a day or two's work.

But how is it any different from [famous people with track records]

They have reputations, which increases the incentive for them to be honest. Product sales will happen whether or not people trust you.

I do not know how to make a shirt. I ordered these. I like them. I think yall will too if you can get past the fact that Im profiting $4(less if you count my time and the fact that im storing these in my very limited space).

You don't make 10 dollars profit on a 20 dollar shirt. You ever priced the cost of selling tshirts online through a third party? What he's accusing JA of could ruin him financially for the rest of his life if JA were to sue for libel. I'm not saying I believe for a fact everything he's saying is true, but it seems like a very big risk for a possibly small reward.
