The camera was never aimed at CPP, if you've got something showing it actually was, I'd love to see it. AFAIK, it's now facing the direction that it was previously, before it was moved a couple days ago.
It's a traffic camera. It's there to monitor the intersection, not stalk CPP for child abductions, or false flags.
Here's the traffic camera, on google maps. http://sli.mg/Ky6WH7 I highlighted the camera. Also notice the building on the left, and the direction compass on the lower left corner. The compass indicates this view is facing NORTHWEST. If you check the traffic camera live right now, it matches this angle. It is NOT facing Comet Ping Pong. Nor was it, ever.
The cam is unfortunately not pointed right at Comet Ping Pong but you can see the stores right down the block from there. You can just almost see Besta pizza in the view but not quite.
Just FYI, There is a DC Traffic Camera directly outside of this establishment, that need a little angle adjustment to catch the front door... http://app.ddot.dc.gov/ Connecticut and Nebraska Ave...

This makes no sense. The camera is physically closer to Comet than it is to Besta. If this were true, the camera would have to be shooting almost right down the center of the street, in order to exclude CPP and Besta both from view. I don't think whoever wrote that really knew what they were talking about.
