I use throwaways for better anonymity.
I can't go into full detail because I need to protect myself. No one should be scared by this post and I am not hear to spread fear porn. No one should stop researching. In fact it is all the more reason to keep investigating. However we all need to take anonymity very seriously and not trust anyone.
This is what happened to me ( can not go into full detail but will give you the gist ):
I was approached some where else. They lured me in with fake evidence and I bit. They used reverse psychology techniques on me and are very good at it. I blew my cover and fucked up. They specifically wanted to know if I am on voat. They are trying to figure out who is who on here.
I realized I was duped shortly after. I played a long with it. They are the Jewish Internet Defense Force as known as JIDF.
This is not a drill. Be careful folks. Do not risk your identity. They will lure you in. I fucked up and am giving you a warning so you do not fuck up.

Nice try. You forgot to ask me where my tinfoil hat is. I am not paranoid. I am telling people the truth. We are up against very powerful forces. If you do not think they are coming after researchers then you are naive. This is a warning. The smart people will figure it out and get past the noise of insults.

Notice his stats? If you want to spot a shill just hover your mouse over the username and if it is an old account with very low scp/ccp (like his) it is a shill. All of the time, every time.
