In case u missed it, Alefantis emphatically stated for the record yesterday on the Kojo Mnambi radio show that Comet Ping Pong DOES NOT HAVE A BASEMENT.

Now, this is problematic because it contradicts all the available evidence we currently have. Including James Alefantis hinself talking about canning 10 tons of tomatoes at Comet and storing them in said basement. Which can be found here in this Metro Weekly article.

In addition to his own words previously confirming the existence of a basement, we also have this book, Boutique Restaurants, which documents the interior of Comet Ping Pong. The only available images are too low of a resolution to make out the description. However, the space depicted is able to be assumed to be a basement area of the building. (Cant find the link to the book right now, i have screenshots on my twitter tho)
Another puzzling piece of information is the listing of Comet, 5037 Connecticut Ave. on propertyshark has the stories of the building listed as '2'.

Other supporting evidence is a confirmed basement level in a neighboring business, Politics and Prose. Across the street there is Joe's Basement Bar, so we know buildings in the immediate vicinity have basements.
Fox News biggest argument in favor of "debunking Pizzagate" was the statement of fact that "Comet Ping Pong does not have a basement"
I'll leave it to the greater community to interpret the implications of these findings published above.

10 tons of tomatoes = over 3000 cans. It takes about 6lbs of tomatoes to fill an industrial sized 100oz can. 20000/6=3333.
Maybe that's not significant, but that detail irritates the fuck out of me. Is he lying? Exaggerating? Has a really huge basement?

No sane pizzaria owner would order a ton of tomatoes unless he would be planning to serve hundreds of guests in the span of a few days. If he really cared about freshness, even a single ton would be mostly waste. My guess is that he was exaggerating, as "ton" is pretty common vernacular when people mean "a large amount".

I have wondered if tomatoes mean something else, but, really I'm just pointing out the inconsistency. Not only has he said he has a basement, he suggested that there's room for thousands of cans down there.

It's not just that. That process is actual manufacturing which requires a manufacturing setup. You don't do that by hand or a kitchen aid mixer. So either there is another manufacturing location, (possible), that also has a basement, or he's lying about the sauce, the amount or the basement or all three. I think the profile pic on IG is much more enlightening and actual proof of pattern of behavior.

I also have a hard time believing a pedophile. They are very good at lies. Evidently we have to definitely investigate this further.
