I personally agreed with u/Aged ban from v/gaming before.
However, despite of disagreeing with his defenders, I think the v/gaming community needs a chance to getting this resolved in a more diplomatic way.
Since we are all getting annoyed by the constant posts done by u/theoldones and his detractors, which I should say are engaging in downvote brigading - yes both parties - then I think we need to handle this matter differently.
I have actually paid close attention to the hole situation and liked what @Obrez had to say about it on his reply to my comment on this post: https://voat.co/v/whatever/3142426.

Obrez's comment - https://voat.co/v/whatever/3142426/17869265
This is why I created this poll to allow the v/gaming community to sort this matter once and for all and we can all move on. This should also work as a precedent to solve any other similar issue on different system and public subs:
LINK REMOVED FOR REVIEW
THIS POLL IS COMPLETELY ANONYMOUS AND NO PERSONAL INFORMATION IS NEEDED TO FILL IT
This poll will be active until this Sunday, April 14th at 4 pm CST.
I shall then make a new post on v/gaming with the results of the poll asking for @Puttitout to honor it's results.
UPDATE:-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The link of the poll has been removed for review and consultation with PuttItOut, Cynabuns and MadWorld.
Some users presented good additional alternatives to creating a new rule and hence they need to be presented on the poll as well.
Plus @thantik presented a valid concern regarding the wording of the poll in question. (Despite calling me a kike like a faggot XD - but hey, all in good faith).
So I will be recreating the poll to contain all the alternatives I saw plausible and viable instead of creating a new rule on v/gaming and that reduce the risk of being a push poll.
I want this to be as least biased as possible allowing an objective presentation of the results so the v/gaming community can decide what to do with this whole matter. I will be returning with a new post and a completely corrected poll.
Sorry for the nuances here and thanks for the feedback!

If you're doing a 3 strikes rule, possibly change the flair for the user so the user and everyone can know to apply scrutiny.
Might be a terrible idea.
Or how about hide comments by default from posters who have a negative ccp for the sub (If that is even a thing).

That could be seen as downvote brigading or a motivation for such thing.
The proposals given by @Project2501 are quite interesting as well to be honest. So I do see them as an additional option to resolve the matter instead of adding new rules to the sub.
@Obrez, what are your thoughts on these proposals: https://voat.co/v/gaming/3146146/17898721?context=10 ?
