This is fair warning to all Voaters to make sure that you have your passwords memorized, stored, or written down on a post-it note stuck to your computer monitor (most secure method (no joke, it probably is these days)).

Try logging in through a private session to ensure you know your password and/or add an email address to your profile to enable password recovery.

Why?

Voat will be going live with the port code this weekend and when we do everyone will be logged out. There is nothing we can do about this, it’s just how the laws of nature work in the computer world.

Here is the meanie part:

Voat will not assist in a password recovery. Let this be known to all in the Kingdom. Write it on the walls, pass it around on scrolls, proclaim it in the taverns.
