I’ve banned all Sane alts (while leaving the main account alone) for spamming. If Sane (or his group) wants to post on Voat, they can do so without using alts to hide behind, thus preventing their main accounts from being downvoted and thus restricted. I am done letting this group stomp all over Voat unfettered* like a spoiled toddler and pushing me to enact draconian rules to prevent them from doing so.
Don’t for a second be fooled at the motivations this group has for Voat, they seek not to help. They seek only to force censorship, drive away users, and ultimately destroy Voat while ruining Voat’s commitment to Freedom of Speech. I will not let them win.
They setup an unwinnable situation for Voat, and no matter Voat’s action, they can claim a victory.
If Voat bans them, they claim censorship. If Voat does nothing, reasonable users depart. Regardless of the action, a user subset will be infuriated, and this is entirely the purpose, divide and conquer. We all need to recognize exactly what is happening here. This isn’t about a single user, this is about an organized effort.
If you ever wondered why Reddit has so many private and obfuscated areas in code, fuzzed counters, shadow bans, etc.? It is to stop groups like this. The problem is, as you all know, once this code is implemented it can be used for both good and evil. I choose not to use the little time available on such things, and will instead ban users who engage in Amalek/ManHood101 style spamming in order to maliciously claim censorship later.
A user is free to say whatever they wish, but if they resort to using alt accounts in order to circumvent the protections we do have, these alt accounts will be banned for spamming.
I’m also pulling Sane off v/TIL and v/ReportShills and moving both to @system. Both these subs were transferred to “him” and “he” has not been a good steward. What a joke. Enough of this as well.

@PuttItOut we know you had a difficult decision to make, it's been made, and you've been transparent about it. That's about all we can ask so thank you.
I'm curious if anything will be done in regard to the related junk posts that have spawned because of the Sane alts (like this 'never forget 1990' crap I'm responding to here), or if anything needs to be done. Frankly, browsing 'new' posts has sucked this last week or so because of Sane trolls, not Sane-alts. Sane-trolls are as annoying and as spammy as Sane's-alt crap, if not more.
If I were to guess, it will just be a 'wait and see' if they stop trolling with a reduction in Sane-alt posts. The brigading & trolling of Sane-alts has been as much of a concern of mine as the Sane-alts themselves, so it's something to keep in mind as you move forward.

Technically, killing the agitators would require killing the people in the shadow government and "intelligence communities" who were running campaigns to create the international agitators in the first place.
If you just leave them alone in there without any leaders and surrounded by strong armies at the borders with non-Muslim nations, they will eventually either self-destruct or rebuild themselves with more reasoning thanks to reformers and the Internet teaching them about just how messed up Islam is compared to the rest of the world.
Right now, the only reason that they are exploding in population size is because the most fanatical Muslim regimes with goals of world conquering were given power several decades ago by the CIA and the corrupt members of our military and government. Replace the shadow government with decent people, have the US and other civilized countries start promoting/protecting Islamic reformers (including via legitimate uses of the "refugee from political persecution" status they're trying to use in favor of the Sharia welfare crowds) rather than calling them "Islamophobic" or "not representatives of Islam", and the reproduction amounts will reset much closer to what they are elsewhere in the world as the community modernizes socially as much as it has modernized technologically (and doesn't feel a need to produce more people for a future and continuing war).
Once the culture war is won, then it is just a matter of mopping up the stray agitators who are still trying to fight to spread their warmongering ideology worldwide, and we already know how easy that can be if you don't actually tell them well in advance of what you're planning on doing (AKA "so easy that random people on an online imageboard with one 'training video' can find the exact location of the camp sites").
