Oh man. I cam so close to getting a c308 which is a century arms cetme. They were like ~$450. Choosing the right battle rifle for me is such a hard choice.

Good read as always. The only downside is that it makes me want to buy more guns.

dude i know

i need a semi auto 308

but this squirrel gun i got is exciting

because its like a dmr for squirrels

rapid fire variable power scope bullet drop compensator for quick hits

its becoming a study piece for the 308

really tho you cant go wrong with an ar

ill probably get an 80 percent lower

then put the primary arms acss on it

10/22's are hella fun. And LOL to that overkill scope. I would be scared for my life if I were a squirrel right now.

AR 10 does seem like the best option. I want to get a nice one though, maybe like a POF. I've been tempted to get a dpms oracle 308 for ~$700 but I know I would upgrade it and end up spending as much or even more than if I just bought the POF. (or whatever brand)

I have been mildly tempted by some PSA AR10s

Fun. That stock is so cool with how it fits together for storage. How was the installation for last round bold hold open?

clamhurt_legbeard ago

dude the stock is mandatory for this thing

its so friggin awesome

bolt hold open wasnt too bad except one of the pins was pretty tight

definitely not basically falling out like the lie the internet told me

my concerns are the scope is very high even with the higher cheek piece that comes with the stock

but if i wrap a cheek riser it removes the ability to use the compartment

if i permanently attach a cheek riser i cant use the irons

right now im going to use the low cheek piece and do a chin weld

no recoil and it might be good enough for what im doing

also even tho ruger says the receiver holds zero

i dont trust it

so im using the forward mount magpul did

and a cantilever quick detach that goes back

but its still a little too forward for 6x

i think the whole setup is on the edge of useability but still ok

well see tomorrow lol
