I love Mosins. I have been collecting them for a couple of years. I have four right now. I am currently looking for a hex barrel and a pre 1940 long barrel.

oh nice

my dad eventually started copying me and my gun purchases

he got a hex receiver 91/30

what are the 4 you have

i have a 1944 m38 and a 1943 m91/30

1936 91/30 converted to an Archangel stock. The original stock was water damaged and cracked. Was not really safe for shooting. The pre1940 metal work is night and day with these rifles. The closer you get to 1945, the sloppier the metal work looks.

1942 M38 no bayonet. My favorite out of the pack. Kicks like a mule and hits dead on everytime.

1943 91/30. This one is my second favorite. Poor old girl is battle hardend. Multiple retooling marks and some done by some old Ruskie.

1945 M38 with bayonet "The Problemed Child". Shoots about 6 inches low and I have no clue why. I think the rifling is shot.

It is an addiction now. Classic Firearms got in a new shipment of Mosins today and it was hard for me to not order any.
