Five new Knesset members renounce foreign citizenship
https://www.timesofisrael.com/five-new-knesset-members-renounce-foreign-citizenship/#gs.fl54fy
Approximately one-third of the Knesset members who will be sworn in at a special ceremony on Tuesday are newcomers to the Israeli parliament. Among them are five who, before pledging to serve the Israeli people, had to formally renounce foreign citizenships.
The requirement to give up non-Israeli citizenship did not take Rachel Azaria (Kulanu), Ksenia Svetlova (Zionist Union), Haim Jelin (Yesh Atid), Abdullah Abu Maaruf (Joint Arab List), and Yoav Kisch (Likud) by surprise. While Israelis may hold dual citizenship, a Basic Law passed in 1958 states that Knesset members cannot pledge allegiance as parliamentarians unless their foreign citizenship has been revoked under the laws of that country.
Israeli citizenship law

Cancellation and renunciation of citizenship
There are cases in which the state can initiate a cancellation of citizenship of an Israeli citizen. Article 11 of the Israeli nationality law establishes three circumstances for which citizenship can be revoked:
- If the person entered a state which is considered an enemy of Israel, or obtained citizenship of an enemy state.
- If the person committed an act which is considered a breach of loyalty to the country.
- If the person's citizenship was given to them on the basis of false information. In such a case, the revocation might also apply to the citizenship of the person's children.
Dual citizenship
Israel allows its citizens to hold dual (or multiple) citizenship. A dual national is considered an Israeli citizen for all purposes, and is entitled to enter Israel without a visa, stay in Israel according to his own desire, engage in any profession and work with any employer according to Israeli law.
There are two exceptions to this principle. Under an additional law added to the Basic Law: the Knesset (Article 16A) according to which Knesset members cannot pledge allegiance unless their foreign citizenship has been revoked, if possible, under the laws of that country. Israeli citizenship cannot be acquired by naturalization unless one renounces his or her previous citizenship.

The Rights and Duties of Members of Knesset
https://main.knesset.gov.il/EN/mk/Pages/Current.aspx
Knesset Members have the right of parliamentary immunity, which is intended to enable them to perform their tasks without fear of legal actions. The essential immunity ensures that a Knesset Member will not bear criminal or civil responsibility for any act which he performed while fulfilling his duty or in order to fulfill his duty. In addition, a Knesset Member has immunities relating to searches, detention, criminal hearings and legal proceedings which are not connected with his work as a Member of Knesset, and only the Knesset itself has the right to lift his immunity in these spheres.
A Knesset Member will not receive, either directly or indirectly, any material benefit for an act he has performed, in the Knesset or outside it, in his capacity as or status of Knesset Member;
A Knesset Member will avoid conflicts of interests between his function as a Knesset Member and his personal affairs;
A Knesset Member will not engage in any business or additional work, even without pay, if this work involves: violation of the Knesset's dignity, his status or duties as a Knesset Member; the possible misuse or attainment of a personal advantage or preferences from his being a Knesset Member; a possible conflict of interests between this additional work and his duty as a Knesset Member;

Look at Ilhan Omar. Just because people give up their citizenship doesn't mean they give up their ideology.
