it starts off apparently on reddit, where r/Animemes had one of their main loli meme posters banned by an admin. why? who knows, reddit just bans people. that's how mafia works over there.

EDIT: @SIayfire122 found a ban reason. reddit has new anti-loli rules

EDIT 2: @Rainy-Day-Dream pointed this out to me, but reddit was recently acquired by a chinese censorship firm. coincidence? probably not

so, their sub rightfully suspects the banhammer might be coming soon. some of them want to suicide their own sub, others want to go war with all of reddit, but the problem is so far contained on reddit for the most part.

@Jkisaprank apparently had a different idea, he decided that their sub should invade and overtake voat. (credit to @Mumbleberry for finding this link BTW)

attempted invasion is being fought back with counter-posts to v/animemes. multiple pedophiles and suspicious types are currently arriving from reddit, intent on making this place a home full of loli/tentacle porn.

their vote farming attempt might be busted open but they did get pointed in our direction

this was sparked off from a redditor loli-meme-maker being banned, likely fracturing the entire community he was a part of on reddit. this would seem to have created a banned redditor exodus like the ones that populated voat, but this time its full of degenerate loli posters and a few literal pedophiles.

TLDR: displaced loli posters from reddit think they can take voat becuase, and i quote, "there's like 500 people there"
