No- but I can ask my husband who is a long time Ham. I do know that the license isn't much--but then of course they know you have a rig.

Monitory fine around $1500. Mostly self regulating community but if people catch on they’ll report you to the fcc, then they’ll track you down. Tech license is dead easy and general license not to difficult. Plus you get assigned your own call sign.
