If you’re going to mod a board that supports a movement like this, don’t be a reckless amateur and put yourself and your family at risk like that.
Other mods haven’t had his problem because hey haven’t been posting about their personal info. They targeted her because she made herself an easy target.
Dont use your Voat user name as your Facebook/Twitter/Gab/etc user name and then stupidly post links for your various social media accounts on every site.
Dont post your photos on those same sites and leave access set to public rather than private
Dont advertise the Voat sub you moderate on your other social media accounts
You know what doxxing is right? It’s when someone goes through all of your posts to piece together personal info. In her case, she had linked to her personal Facebook in some way. She also confirmed that the doxxers were successful, that the images posted about her were actually her. It’s obvious she has always identified herself as a woman with a family.
