I have already communicated a couple of times with @srayzie and also @Shizy has commented in the comments thread, and they seemed happy.
I mentioned this particular rule to srayzie for guidance and her response was positive, but that's for her to confirm.
In particular I think there is something else going on with the chap, but that's not my business.
My intention was to expose the fake news site, having been caught out by it myself, and seeing others also caught.
It was always going to be difficult to demonstrate the problem without alluding to the mechanisms, i.e. the multiple alts or bots...
There did seem to be a lot of bots, or alts, all less than two weeks old, as well, but I hoped that the use of the sandwiches metaphor would keep it friendly.
I have had many messages thanking me for the work, from regular anons on here, who had been already caught, or who now know to avoid it...
I hope that will demonstrate ongoing merit, especially as less regular anons may also, in due course, gain from the discussions

He was always wrong and I had the right answer to begin with. He could not see a pattern. Me and another left the group and that really pissed him off.
In another group training for a job, we were jacking a truck to change the tire. I suggested putting the jack in a certain place. I've not changed tires on vehicles, but I have changed tires on F-16s and C-130s. He said he worked in car maintenance, he had changed more tires that I have. So, he put the jack where he wanted, in the middle of the axel, bringing up the entire back end. This seemed like a dumb idea to me, but he is the smart, experienced guy. Of course, the truck fell to one side and broke the jack...

We don't need to be tricked into believing fake news. It is the enemy of the people. People on the left seem to prefer the fake stuff, however, we prefer real facts.
I don't know what you mean by "where you are going with this." One should be accountable for their actions and speech. When one's actions and speech start hurting other people, limits should be established or maintained.
How can we ever use "hurting others" with speech as the gauge for what is ok and not ok? If I say something contrary to what someone else deeply believes, it can be argued that I'm hurting them. That sets it up so that basically anything anyone says has the potential to be hurting someone else. It's a massive slippery slope to censoring speech.
The speaker must take ownership and responsibility for what is said. As previously stated, the legal standard is what the reasonable person would say. Governance is established is established to prevent people from destroying each other. Case in point, defamation, already sets limits on freedom of speech.
Your assumption of the slippery slope is unfounded. Just because parents discipline their children doesn't mean that they beat them. There has to be responsibility and accountability for everything. As the ciche notes, "Everything in moderation."
It's definately a slippery slope as evidenced by what has already been occurring. They can tell us certain things are now "hate speech" and people are losing jobs over what they say. Getting kicked out of college, etc.
What's next? Continue to self censor or go to jail? Lose your kids? It's happening in Europe. You don't think they would implement that here if they could get away with it? Thankfully we have the 1st amendment. So they are treding lightly and using social media and social pressure to get most people to self censor.
I'm sure our grandparents would be appalled that someone would lose their job over something they said outside of work hours. But now so many people have come to accept that that's just the way it is! We have slid pretty far already.
A slippery slope indicates there is no middle ground for appropriate moderation. In the PC world, there are two extremes. One extreme is to be able to say anything without regard. Another extreme is to be able to dictate what to say without regard to one's personal ethics and morals. The responsible person should be able to find a responsible reasonable middle ground.
I am sure that you are right that people go to jail over things that they have said. The law has established a limit, defamation, that punished the purveyor of such. I suspect people are losing their children. Most people who say they should be allowed to say anything without responsibility would not speak to their children with disregard. So, in fact, they are self censoring. There is a middle ground.
Many years ago, I argued against employers being able to control their employees outside of the workplace unless it was a religious organization or some other "ethical" entity that would be harmed. I also predicted that if Obamacare was allowed to stand, people would be euthanized because they were too expensive to care for.
I never thought that I would say this but I bet you don't believe in freedom of speech or freedom of religion when it impinges on another person. Reasonability is a critical factor.

When I jihadi decides that his religion entitles him to malfeasance or misfeasance, I no longer support his freedom of religion. When freedom of speech is used to hurt, defame and encite violence, I no longer support freedom of speech. All our freedoms come with a certain amount of reasonableness.
Don't confuse freedom of speech/religion with crimes. My freedom ends at your face. IE I cannot assault or hurt you. Plus there are limits on Freedom already. We don't need to add more limitations.
Increased dialogue is valuable. Unfettered speech is untenable. Limits of freedom of speech/religion are called crimes. Because certain groups are unwilling to assimilate, new guidelines, read laws, will have to be established.
The courts still impose the "reasonable" standard. What the reasonable person would do is the standard the courts impose. The fact that many do not want to take responsibility for their actions and speech does not mean that accountability should not be maintained.
Right. Deception and deceit don’t fall under protected speech. They are free to say what they want even if they shouldn’t, but they are not free of the consequences. That’s what people keep forgetting. Like kaepernick was totally free to protest the anthem (tho I would argue the League has a right to say you can’t do it on company time), but then he can’t whine when no one wants to hire him because he’s a trouble maker.
Legally, there used to be "fighting words," which underscored the need to not provoke violence through discourse. I understand that this precedent is no longer honored. Provocation is real.
This an interesting concept that I was unaware of. It seems to me that there MUST be a legal limit to the amount of verbal abuse one could be subjected to before that person took physical action. If i followed you around antagonizing you, calling you names and saying awful shit about your family I should be punched until I shut up. I had no idea this was once a legal situation.

I just hate being deceived. I don't like to be lied to. However, I always speak up, but no one listens to me.
In college, I had a professor tell us that there was nothing wrong with incest, it was just taboo. I objected. I told him it was wrong. It just so happened, that at that very time, my mother was fostering two who were products of incest and they had many issues. They were just two of seven and they all had problems, so I knew this as fact. We argued, but since he is the one with a degree at the time, he was obviously smarter than me.
In another class, we were always in "pods" our desks were four people to a desk. There was a guy who started before me. He was bigger than me and louder than me. When we would work in groups on answering questions, I would give the answer, however, he always was louder and more aggressive and confident. We would submit his answer instead of mine. He was always wrong and I had the right answer to begin with. He could not see a pattern. Me and another left the group and that really pissed him off.
In another group training for a job, we were jacking a truck to change the tire. I suggested putting the jack in a certain place. I've not changed tires on vehicles, but I have changed tires on F-16s and C-130s. He said he worked in car maintenance, he had changed more tires that I have. So, he put the jack where he wanted, in the middle of the axel, bringing up the entire back end. This seemed like a dumb idea to me, but he is the smart, experienced guy. Of course, the truck fell to one side and broke the jack...
Just a minuscule number of times that I attempt to speak up, but someone with more confidence and bigger voice overpowers me. It's really frustrating.

How can we ever use "hurting others" with speech as the gauge for what is ok and not ok? If I say something contrary to what someone else deeply believes, it can be argued that I'm hurting them. That sets it up so that basically anything anyone says has the potential to be hurting someone else. It's a massive slippery slope to censoring speech.

The speaker must take ownership and responsibility for what is said. As previously stated, the legal standard is what the reasonable person would say. Governance is established is established to prevent people from destroying each other. Case in point, defamation, already sets limits on freedom of speech.
Your assumption of the slippery slope is unfounded. Just because parents discipline their children doesn't mean that they beat them. There has to be responsibility and accountability for everything. As the ciche notes, "Everything in moderation."

It's definately a slippery slope as evidenced by what has already been occurring. They can tell us certain things are now "hate speech" and people are losing jobs over what they say. Getting kicked out of college, etc.
What's next? Continue to self censor or go to jail? Lose your kids? It's happening in Europe. You don't think they would implement that here if they could get away with it? Thankfully we have the 1st amendment. So they are treding lightly and using social media and social pressure to get most people to self censor.
I'm sure our grandparents would be appalled that someone would lose their job over something they said outside of work hours. But now so many people have come to accept that that's just the way it is! We have slid pretty far already.

A slippery slope indicates there is no middle ground for appropriate moderation. In the PC world, there are two extremes. One extreme is to be able to say anything without regard. Another extreme is to be able to dictate what to say without regard to one's personal ethics and morals. The responsible person should be able to find a responsible reasonable middle ground.
I am sure that you are right that people go to jail over things that they have said. The law has established a limit, defamation, that punished the purveyor of such. I suspect people are losing their children. Most people who say they should be allowed to say anything without responsibility would not speak to their children with disregard. So, in fact, they are self censoring. There is a middle ground.
Many years ago, I argued against employers being able to control their employees outside of the workplace unless it was a religious organization or some other "ethical" entity that would be harmed. I also predicted that if Obamacare was allowed to stand, people would be euthanized because they were too expensive to care for.

It's just that everything has gotten so twisted lately. Just US Flag is hate speech? That's crazy. Then, some of the muslims believe "jihad-to kill infidels" is freedom of religion.
Freedom of speech is important, but propaganda or fake news need some type of "warning flag." Perhaps if people were able to see it for what it is, there wouldn't be a danger.

When I jihadi decides that his religion entitles him to malfeasance or misfeasance, I no longer support his freedom of religion. When freedom of speech is used to hurt, defame and encite violence, I no longer support freedom of speech. All our freedoms come with a certain amount of reasonableness.

Don't confuse freedom of speech/religion with crimes. My freedom ends at your face. IE I cannot assault or hurt you. Plus there are limits on Freedom already. We don't need to add more limitations.

The courts still impose the "reasonable" standard. What the reasonable person would do is the standard the courts impose. The fact that many do not want to take responsibility for their actions and speech does not mean that accountability should not be maintained.

Right. Deception and deceit don’t fall under protected speech. They are free to say what they want even if they shouldn’t, but they are not free of the consequences. That’s what people keep forgetting. Like kaepernick was totally free to protest the anthem (tho I would argue the League has a right to say you can’t do it on company time), but then he can’t whine when no one wants to hire him because he’s a trouble maker.

This an interesting concept that I was unaware of. It seems to me that there MUST be a legal limit to the amount of verbal abuse one could be subjected to before that person took physical action. If i followed you around antagonizing you, calling you names and saying awful shit about your family I should be punched until I shut up. I had no idea this was once a legal situation.
