How could speeding up clown world be a good thing?

By getting to next social revolution sooner.

The people promoting "Accelerationism" have come to the conclusion that we are in such a dire predicament that only a major, possibly catastrophic event can get us out of this tunnel.

IMHO the simplest analogy to explain accelerationism is that of a drug addicted son: you first born son is desperately addicted to cocaine, the things he has done to pay for habit would make a transsexual prostitute vomit, when he is not a guest of the government in jail he ends up in different hospitals. You know that if keeps going like this he will eventually become HIV positive or die of an overdose. You pray that he will hit rock bottom before he dies but you feel you can do nothing.

An accelerationist father would manipulate his son into a quasi-overdose, hoping that he will see the light, and get out of his deadly addiction.

It is radical thinking but it is not irrational: Accelerationists would like to do the same with our doomed deformed and dysgenic society.

The Sabbatean Frankist Jews are all about accelerationism. They're one of the motivators behind all these rapidly multiplying perverted social movements.

George Soros nis really a fan of Accelerationism.

"In a war, lose territories,???, profit and you win" ~Jun tzu Trudeau

Lose territories, more terrible laws, invade fully by invaders, enjoy your Holodomor.

Thought provoking. I'd never heard of Huxley.

Huxley vs Orwell

I think they were both right

Fuck man. This cuts to the core. Regardless of who you side with.

It's a no win. I guess the enemy really is within. We should probably just concentrate on being the best version of ourselves regardless of the circumstances we find ourselves in at any given time.

This caused me to download A Brave New World. @Delacourt

It's a great book. The comic itself is directly taken from the book Amusing Ourselves to Death by Neil Postman, which is incredible in its own way. It was written more recently and is more specific in its criticism of modern culture.

There was a deleted comment just above this saying "Trust me, clown world can get much much worse... think 1984."

That's exactly what accelerationists don't understand. Their basic premise is that there will be a "breaking point" at which enough rights are removed that the people will spontaneously rise up. But if there were going to be a "breaking point" then it would have happened already. Accelerationists can't conceive of a world in which people just accept more restrictions to their rights, as they always have.

The basic idea of accelerationism is that terrorist attacks will lead to government bodies taking away rights, and governments taking away rights will lead to a mass uprising. So far, government curtailment of rights is all that we have seen, and the prophesied uprising remains just a theory. Killing yourself or getting imprisoned simply in order to get more rights taken away from your people is insane.

This isn't a blackpill, this is a realitypill. There are many strategies that can work, and they are always strategies that involve organization, redpilling, or having white kids and demonstrate their effectiveness directly rather than theoretically.

You can mention the Soviet Union as an example. Where literally millions of citizens were abused and killed for over 70+ years without ever having a successful revolt.

Delacourt ago

That's a perfect example. Same thing with North Korea or any other totalitarian regime. People don't understand that revolts or societal changes require sophisticated organization and structural causes to work. It's not something so simple where if people don't like a regime an uprising will spontaneously happen.

Yeah, who knows what the future holds. Call me optomistic, but there is still a rebellious spirit in America.

It's only useful with a plan. Think of it like heading to a waterfall on a river in a kayak, rushing forward with the current means you could end up in a bad position when the drop comes. Better to let things flow as they are and work on being in the right position so you don't end up caught in the hole at the bottom.

Oh trust me, the world can get much, much worse. Think 1984 and even worse than that. Hold on boys, clown world is just getting started.
