Two parts to this, at least:

1.) Conspiracies obviously happen, so not believing that they do would make you a dumbass.

2.) The invention of the term "Conspiracy theory" was aimed at tarnishing actual conspiracies and conspiracy followers as a means of control, instead turning them into ridicule, largely without legitimate investigation.

So, it follows that anyone with at least a decent intellect, and one that doesn't follow the crowd, would be interested in the vast world of conspiracy. I would also hope that those with said, decent intellect, would be able to weed out the obvious falsehoods from the ones that have legs.

So where is the proof Earth is moving? No proof. Where’s the proof of curvature? 8” drop every mile yet not observed. How about an actual photo of the ball earth? Not one.
