Hey voat. My long time webhost has sold out. Ixwebhosting. Looks like they have sold to the Indians and the service has gone downhill a tad and price is up. So I am looking for a new host. Someone cheapish that allows wordpress installs and unlimited bandwidth and some sort of cpannel access. I will be putting clients site on them so someone who's been around for a while would be keen. Currently on Site5, looking to get off of them and don't want to do godaddy as I've heard to many horror stories.
Any recommendations would be swell!

I actually host quite a few sites, but unlimited bandwidth doesn't exist - nor does unlimited disk space. The closest you can come is 'unmetered'.
What sort of numbers? What sort of content? I might be able to slice some space off for you.
I expect you to know what the fuck you're doing and not pester me with stupid shit.

Ya small sites, low numbers, usually mom and pop type businesses. 100 megs of server space and maybe 5 gigs of transfer a month. Mostly I like having a hosting company as I make the clients sign up in their name so they "own" it all and get all the bills and such, cuts me out of most of the mindless admin stuff once i build their sites. Anymore I do 100% wordpress sites. There just to easy to throw up for the price points these folks like to pay for deving. Cheers mate.... thanks for the offer.

Oh probably. I was on one with IXwebhosting... not sure I do enough webdev though anymore to justify it. I'm only building about 6-12 sites a year anymore. and it seemed more trouble then it was worth to keep up with it all. Anyway, got a good host with a good reseller program?

I am beholden to the server owner. I only have a reseller account with this one. So, there's the usual caveats about my being beholden to a hosting company. You basically can't make unlawful threats, say kill niggers and kikes, and shit like that. I don't police for it, but I will shut your shit down if I get complaints.

ya, nothing like that. thats what voat is for ;-) this is all strictly for small business sites. Only issue I have ever had was somehow once, 10 years ago, someone cut and pasted some navigation code from the inet into their HTML navigation and it had some sort of virus or re-router, had to replace the code with clean HTML with rollovers and all was well.... thanks mate!
