I delete at least 2/3 of the things I set out to post. Half way through "Fuck it - who cares anyway?" or "this is just going to start an argument I don't want to be bothered having." usually happen.
All of the computational theories of mind were pretty much abandoned by the 80s, because our mind doesn't compute. Programs are very defined things that require a formal logic. The human mind's manner of understanding actually incorporates anti-logic and nobody really understands it.
