I saw Star Wars yesterday and I cannot bring myself to dislike it. I have a few objections but they aren’t fatal.

Horror Genre?

Classics, classical indie and Foreign classic Nosferatu, Hitchcock's Psycho, The Shining a classic from the King book with lots of mystic elements and great Kubrick style film making, you have the scifi horror genre Alien / Aliens I guess some cyberpunk scifi in their own ways are kind of horror, the Fly and the Thing remakes bring the gross, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978) another classic the Hitcher is pretty good Rutger Hauer famous for Blade Runner died recently he played a serial killer in Hitcher, the film Jaws Pits Man Against Nature great Classic Sound Track an amazing score, Session 9. It's a simple story about a crew of asbestos removal technicians, I agree original Swede version of 'Let the Right One In' is pretty good and Ole Bornedal's Nightwatch is a Denmark classic, [REC] & [REC] 2 double feature a Spanish take on the zombie apocalypse or del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth crazy visuals and I guess it a child imagination and escapism during the horror of civil war, the Japanese Ringu film, Onibaba is great is old black and white but its visuals are stunning, A Tale of Two Sisters Directed by Kim Jee-woon 2003 a good Korean film, 1925 Phantom of the Opera another worth checking ... Night Of the Living Dead is open free to share and air because they fucked up the copyright back in the 1960s so you can get this one almost anywhere online for free
