Probably just a cover for funding and investment opportunities. Not many companies want voat on their books as an investment option, so if Putts created a cover company this allows for this financial transaction to run more smoothly.

Putts is probably taking a break.

My best guess is that instead of moderating, Putt is brushing up on his developer skills for his next job. At the very least he can talk about how he "created the Edon framework".
