I love this shithole. My tech skills are fairly meager but I would absolutely contribute monetarily and otherwise to Voat's survival or whatever can be built from it's ashes.

If you have any ideas/suggestions to BuiLd BAcK BetTEr post them. Example: I've heard of some anonymous/distributed hosting tech that could let a place like this survive, but I have no idea if they're really functional.

Web software engineer here - I will create a replacement, if you guys are good with a couple rules:

  1. no porn (impossible to police + fuck that degeneracy)
  2. nothing illegal

I will accept financial support to pay for hosting, but I’ll also pitch in a few hundy to kick it off.

I will use a warrant canary and will not store IP logs.

If you guys are OK with that, I’ll put up a placeholder domain, but only if this gets traction and everyone is gonna move over there.

I know, I deleted my prior user a couple weeks ago because of some... stuff... that I posted… I did not realize the site was going to be deleted a couple weeks later or I would have waited.
