I love this shithole. My tech skills are fairly meager but I would absolutely contribute monetarily and otherwise to Voat's survival or whatever can be built from it's ashes.

If you have any ideas/suggestions to BuiLd BAcK BetTEr post them. Example: I've heard of some anonymous/distributed hosting tech that could let a place like this survive, but I have no idea if they're really functional.

ok but that has nothing to do with European "no jews allowed" brewers guilds. But yes every society pretty much made alcohol. But no they weren't making liquor, just mead , date beer and wine. Distilling wasn't invented yet.

And Jews observance of local laws or not, doesn't mean that the brewers would let them in nor let design their logo.

Irish monks didn't bring distillation to Europe from Arabia until the ...1300s I think? And Marco Polo still wrote about it with fascination when he traveled the silk road.

Also thats not what usury is. Also plenty of non Jewish distillers were also doing that practice.
