The only "evidence" to justify indicting Gardner was never made available to the public and was sealed to the grand jury which indicted him.

All publically available evidence is a clear cut case of lawful carrying and self-defense against homicidal rioters.

This is the level of clown world we've reached:

1) Losing your leases (and hence businesses) for lawful actions.

2) Being driven to suicide for defending yourself from a violent felon.

3) Secret "evidence" presented only in secret hearings where only the politically pandering prosecutor can make their case.
