Antifaschistische Aktion was founded by the Communist Party of Germany in 1932. Through out the 1920's the Communists had various mobs, gangs, and paramilitary groups that would attack democrats, socialists, and especially the NSDAP. The NSDAP became so effective at street fighting, thanks to the Sturmabteilung, and so popular politically that the Communists decided to (((organize))) under one banner the AA to deal with threat. It didn't work out too well. It took practically the entire might of the industrialized (((Western))) World to defeat the NSDAP.
