Rock died a seemingly instant death in the mid 00s and nobody seemed to care, probably because of all the "nu-metal sucks bro!" astroturfing. And now kids these days are stuck with basically one option. Nigger music. With their degenerate lyrics and "artists" force feeding their minds poison behind some beats. I wonder how rock would've evolved if it was left to grow.

korn is considered the very first "nu-metal" band. along with disturbed, linkin park, godsmack, etc..

nu metal sucking wasn't an astroturf campaign.. that shit did and does suck compared to traditional metal. sadly is somehow leaps and bounds better than the shit they are producing now and calling "Rock".
